Hello everyone
Look at what arrived last night from ebay! The lot had only been on ebay for a few minuites with a very reasonable buy it now price and so it was snapped up with no hesitation! <:>

(http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/1803/200910280006.jpg) (http://img571.imageshack.us/i/200910280006.jpg/)
So far I have sussed out that there is a pottery house, a tailors house, and an inn house. There is also an ambulance station, a fort, sheriffs office, numerous Nuremburg gaurd sets with cannons, hospital bits with ambulance, police car and mottorbikes with lots of policemen. Also lots of pirates :arrr:
All the sets seem to be in one block of the collectors book betwween '81 and '84, so the houses are late ones.
The condition is rather amazing, some of the white building parts are a bit off colour, and quite a few of the Klickies have been coloured in with pen but this seems to wash off with a good scrub. None of the sets are 100% complete, but there is a lot for each set.
I would like to request some help for putting the houses and sets together please, as I have no idea at all, and only have the little catalogue pics of the fronts to look at :P
Damo :)

Another great Damo catch from eBay! Well done! :)9 :)9 :)9
I think once you've sorted the parts into sets or partial sets, if you post further photos people can come in with ideas on missing parts etc.

Thanks, Gordon!
I am in the process of doing that today, and so far I have the ambulance station built, and half of the pottery and tailors houses from what I can see in pics, but I am struggling with how many roof windows, and who has chimmneys etc.
My eyes are going 8}
i will begin to take pics soon to aid completion and identification :)
-
Very nice haul indeed Damo!! Gratzies.
Should be fun getting everything thing back together, Good luck!
-
Am excited for you Damo...well done!
-
My first vaguely complete set:
(http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/5389/200910290001.jpg) (http://img534.imageshack.us/i/200910290001.jpg/)
Only missing 1 sword and 8 cannonballs :)
I have enough Klickies and another cannon to make another one, with the left over shields and flags being in the alternative heraldry
-
That is just great Damo, we all know how hard those guys are to get a hold of!
/me wonders how long it will be before Giorginetto "smells" this thread now that it contains pictures of Nurmberg Guards :-)
-
:omg: You are a lucky fellow, Damo!
-
Another set, nearly complete :)
(http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/1951/200910290002.jpg) (http://img571.imageshack.us/i/200910290002.jpg/)

Some police sets
This one is complete (3494):
(http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/1703/200910290004.jpg) (http://img535.imageshack.us/i/200910290004.jpg/)
Likewise, this one (3564):
(http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/2657/200910290003o.jpg) (http://img294.imageshack.us/i/200910290003o.jpg/)
A green police car 3215 - missing front bumper and 1 horn:
(http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/9422/200910290005.jpg) (http://img97.imageshack.us/i/200910290005.jpg/)
Loose bits which don't really make up much of a set:
(http://img580.imageshack.us/img580/1131/200910290011.jpg) (http://img580.imageshack.us/i/200910290011.jpg/)
-
3247 helicopter. Missing it's end, and a side board. The red wheeled unit is also damaged.
(http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/1227/200910290007.jpg) (http://img529.imageshack.us/i/200910290007.jpg/)
Does anyone know how to get the top rotor off safely, as it appears to be on upside down :-\
-
Ambulance station 3432. Missing two pavement pieces and a few filler toasts. One of the signs that hangs on the front is missing it's tab, and the other one is missing all together.
(http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/7128/200910290008.jpg) (http://img294.imageshack.us/i/200910290008.jpg/)
Not really sure what goes with this set. How many red cups, jugs, ladels should there be with this set? as there were a million in the box :-\
(http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/6724/200910290009.jpg) (http://img155.imageshack.us/i/200910290009.jpg/)
A great and very immpressive building which I have wanted for ages for my safari layout :)
-
Great sets all of them !!! great buys and these nuremberg guards look very tasty !!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Ambulance set 3254, and various jumbled hospital sets 3490's:
(http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/9352/200910290012.jpg) (http://img529.imageshack.us/i/200910290012.jpg/)
The ambulance is missing it's rear door flap, and both blue roof lights:
(http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/6267/200910290013.jpg) (http://img149.imageshack.us/i/200910290013.jpg/)

Great Haul!
I particularly like the ambulance station, that's not one that comes up often, and very useful in many situations.
I always wonder what people were thinking, getting rid of ALL their Playmobil in one unsorted job lot. If they'd bothered to sort it out and auction separate sets, even incomplete, they'd have made so much more money.
-
Oh wow wow wow wow wow Damo!!! What a great haul!!!! Congratulations!!! Such variety!!! So many sets reminding me of my childhood!!!! The ambulance and police sets in particular!!! The ambulance station is great!!!!! And of course the Nuremberg guards!!!! Bravo!!!!
-
Congratulatons Damo!  :)9 What a wonderful haul, like Christmas in June and I am sure you needed those sets!
-
So here are the houses 0) (where my area of expertise doesn't stretch too)
The potters house
Missing - canopy off stall, woman's shall, man Klicky and pots accessories
(http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/1259/200910290022.jpg) (http://img704.imageshack.us/i/200910290022.jpg/)
(http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/3048/200910290021.jpg) (http://img697.imageshack.us/i/200910290021.jpg/)
(http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/5421/200910290023.jpg) (http://img697.imageshack.us/i/200910290023.jpg/)
I sort of need help with what goes with these houses as I haven't really much idea :-\
-
Next it's the tailor's house
As far as I am aware, it's only missing the legs for the table
(http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/6986/200910290019.jpg) (http://img690.imageshack.us/i/200910290019.jpg/)
(http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/4699/200910290020.jpg) (http://img684.imageshack.us/i/200910290020.jpg/)
-
Awwwww, coloured steck houses... my favourites !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P :P :P :P
-
And finally the Inn
An issue with the Klickies, as the ones I found are a mix of fixed and movable hands :-\
I am unsure of the accsessories on this one, and as far as I can see there is a fair amount of small structural bits missing as you can see in the pics :(
(http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/6931/200910290017.jpg) (http://img149.imageshack.us/i/200910290017.jpg/)
(http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/9715/200910290018t.jpg) (http://img689.imageshack.us/i/200910290018t.jpg/)
If anyone has any missing pieces to this set or any of the other sets here I would very much be interested in either buying or trading for them as I would really like to complete these new sets :)
Damo :)

The pottery house does not missing anything else, apart from the ones you already have noticed Damo! I think I have a spare blue shall...I can send it to you...
And the tailor shop is indeed missing oly the table legs...and a sign like the oval sided on the pottery house has...
This in is version three and the klickies did indeed have movable hands...you are missing two more klickies (female red dress and yellow shal, male is exactly the same as the one in the 3443 farm house, and the 3442 blacksmith..
Lets see more !!! Lets see more!!!

Oh no, more missing than I had realised :'(
This is just the help I need - I suddenly thought and checked my spare klicky drawer and found the two missing peeps for the inn, and the blue shawl, but thanks for your offer :)
In the catalogue pic of the inn, the guy sitting on the rail playing his instrument appears to have a pegleg ???
-
And just found the potter man, although I haven't got his hat or bib :(

The seller was an animal rescue centre, who sell donated goods on ebay, and this lot was donated by someone :o
They started to try and build the sets, gave up, and just sold it as one lot. Although they had listed the police car and ambulance sepertley, with other Klickies so I bought them all as well. Annoyingly they had already sold an old fir engine with three Nuremberg guards as they didn't really know what they were doing! The pics were a blur and I didn't really know exactly what I was buying - but I just knew I had to have it! ;D ;D ;D
The auction was a Buy it now, which had only been on for a few minutes :)

55 GBP!!!! WOW !!!

I was looking at the pic on Collectobil:
http://collectobil.com/catalogue/items/3448.htm (http://collectobil.com/catalogue/items/3448.htm)
Or perhaps this wierd guy only belongs to this version one :-\
BTW, I am still on ye olde 2nd edition - I completely forgot to bid on a 3rd on ebay and it went for £4.50 :hissyfit: :hissyfit: :hissyfit: :hissyfit: :hissyfit: :hissyfit:
I didn't sleep that night.

Very good, flatcat. Great treasure and very good price.
Also respect for the fact that you could muster the patience to post your procedings here. If it was my loot, you wouldn´t have seen posts from me for days.

WOW Damo, that is some collection. I'm green with envy. I think I've seen this site before :hissyfit: but can't think what it was they were selling then, unless it was the fire engine.
Are you sure you'll be able to find a place to store those houses now that you've sorted out all your Playmobil collection
If you haven't space for them on your shelves I'm sure we could find a storage space at our hall ;D ;D
Well done for spotting the auction and at such a good price too.

Don't worry, Elaine - I reserved a box whilst I did my sort because I knew they were coming ;D

Now for the Western goodies from the big box of treats:
An incomplete Fort Randle, missing sign, 1 hitching post and back of watch tower. Klickies are in an absolute state and cannon is completely kaputt. No worries though, because I already have an incomplete one, but has all the accessories so I can make a great complete one between the two :)
(http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/6978/200910290015.jpg) (http://img4.imageshack.us/i/200910290015.jpg/)
A sheriffs office, which will be complete once I find his hat from my draw in the shed.
(http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/4885/200910290014.jpg) (http://img534.imageshack.us/i/200910290014.jpg/)
There's not supposed to be anything else with it?
And also, the rifles that go with this set - should they be the long ones or the short ones ???
-
The sheriff's office does seem to be complete... But I have no clue as to the fort...I never had one... :( :( :(
-
The blue lights for the ambulance are still available.

Are they? - but they are very old :-\

Are they? - but they are very old :-\
They never seem not to have been available as they were used with the 3781 fire engine and then with the reissued old fire engine on DS.

What really intrigues me is how with over 6,000 Playmobil lots on eBay, flatcat happens to spot this one! ???

Hi Damo,
Great haul, there's lots of set's there that I have never had of ebay.
The sheriffs office is missing the bed but the long rifles are the right ones for that version.
You will find the scan of parts on the disc.
Good look with completing those framed houses, they are great little treasures to keep.

Thanks, Garry - I found the Sheriff's hat, and will go and look in the shed tommorow for the bed.
As always your scans are invaluable, and they helped me to build the inn (and tell me that I had a lot of bits missing) ;D
Damo :)
-
You got a real bargain, Damo, especially since all the sets you have shown us so far look to be very clean and in excellent condition! 8-)
-
This week I got the instructions for the potters house with a load of parts for it and for the 3050 pirate ship for £2.20! :woohoo:

Fantastic Damo!!! Well done!!! The potters house was the first one of these houses I got when I was a kiddo!
I still remember the first day it was given to me as a pressent!! Lost the box and nstruction in the flood though...early 90's :(

Excellent Damo - great buy...well done

Excellent buy Damo!! Well done!! :) For a good price also. :yup:
Baden
-
Unfortunately, the parts that came with it wern't any that I was missing, but an extra potters wheel and loads of pottery is always useful 8-)
It was this manual I was most after :yup:
Damo :)
