Sometime in the past, I had created some ghost-knights. These were based on a number of klickies;
the armoured parts of the Barbarian Knight (4436) and the Ghost Special (4650) with some extra parts:
-
Oh wow!!! Awesome!!! Imagine seeing him in your sleep!!!
-
... but with the new "Hooded Phantom" special, I wanted to improve them.
So, behold: the new and improved spectres of the night ...
I like them.
I like them a lot!

Hi
I really like the blue eyes of the first custom but the weapons of the second set. The red eyes look too big for some reason :omg:
Great customs and thanks for sharing.

Sorry to rush in... :-[ I love the second ones better! The red eyes make them scarier and give them a more evil look! whereas the first one seems like a good ghost...

Fearsome customs, Bogro. I shan't sleep tonight! 8}

Great customs! I was working along similar lines.

WOOOOHOHOHOHO!!! :omg: :omg: :omg:
Those are AWSOME looking ghost knights!!! ;D
So cool! :o

Great, scary customs - I like the one with blue eyes - they look as if they are going to pop out!! :omg:
I must show these to Junior - they are his type of thing :0 :0 :0

I think the faces with the blue eyes look mad-crazy and the ones with the red eyes have a menacing quality.
-
Have you tried one with the darker shade of armor? Or using Bronze Knight armor?
The silver gives a "conjured" look, because it's so clean and shiny. A darker armor might give a "just climbed out of a grave".
The blue eyes are cold, the red eyes more fierce, and the stitched mouth suggests reanimation. I'd suggest a blue-eyed wight rasising an armed bodyguard of red-eyed zombie thugs.
I recall you tried the gold armor and it was just too nice for a skeleton to wear.

Fantastic work Count Bogro :wow:
I love customs that are from original parts only with no painting or sculpting. Great imagination.

That's a very nice custom! It's very scary and very effective!

Very scary actually , mind you all i used to get scared from the 3669 knights as they reminded me of the slayers in the Krull movie when i was a bambino :-[ :-[ :-[ but i find these klickies edging between horror and terror... brrrrrrrrr !!!!!!!!!!! :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

A new attempt. As suggested by Martin I used the darker armour. But the only dark helmed I got (with the two horns) that fitted the armour covered almost the whole face. So I used a crown.
I didn't go for all dark metal. I thought a brown shield and brown spear would make stand out more.
Oh well, bought two more hooded phantoms to play around with.

It looks great and menacing. Maybe of you tried it with the silver crown from 4666, it would pull it even more together, just a thought.
-
Grand job! simple and haunting...I would think that Gis has a good proposal there!

I found that to be a problem with most cool looking helmets - it covers the face too much. I also found that gold doesn't really work. I still have a ghost-knight clad in gold; to use as a Ghost-lord; but it isn't as good as the silver ones.
BTW - I found that keeping the number of colours low it works much better. In your ghost, I would try and replace the weapons with some bronce ones. Perhaps even go as far as to remove the pictures from the shield. But that's just silly me.
And whatever - it's definitly a coooool looking ghost!

Thanks guys!!
About the crown: I only had a gold one available. I have a silver one, but that one is on the head of my avatar. Can't use that one, of course.
About the shields, as soon as I get a new color cartridge I'll try my hand at printing my own designs for the shields.
