A few weeks ago, in readiness for our Playmo display at the village hall we decided to get the circus out of storage just to see what we had.
We've since got some of the extra sets such as the horse tent, but here are the photos we took.
We had a limited space on the kitchen table so couldn't put out all the klickys we wanted and things are rather squashed together.
Apologies also for the background but Junior and his dad had to make a background with a table cover because I thought it would hide the background and make the circus stand out but it does look a bit strange!

A clown with a bucket of water tried to empty it over Mine and Junior's avatars, can you spot him? ...

While the circus is in full swing the camel trailer is being cleaned out ....

The view from the band's platform ...

As well as the main circus arena there is also a practice ring - the circus owner and his wife have come along to watch ...

One of my favourite sets - the knife thrower ...
The trailers had to be crowded together...
Luckily the lions were on their best behaviour ...
So were the elephants ...
But the camel decided that he wanted to help with the cleaning! ....

And the strongman got carried away by his own strength and knocked out his young assistant ...

When we set out our diorama at the village hall it will be bigger and much better than this, but we just wanted to get a taste for what will be.
(BTW our strongman's trailer has lost a wheel - does anyone have a spare or know if it is still available from ds?)

Very cool!
If you cannot find a wheel I suggest this:
You make a small part of your display be about the strongman getting lost behind becuse his wheel broke off!
You could have him a few feet away from the display with his hands in the air looking at his wheel with his assistant!

Lovely set up Elaine!! Although I am not a circus fan (any kind) I really like the colours in all your pictures. I like the safety net a lot! These are actually three big sets right? Circus Romani, the lion tamer cage, and the bigger round show with the acrobats the magicians and the seals...The trailers i think are totatlly diferent sets right? I like this variation! makes your circus so real like!!!

A very impressive display, Elaine, and with the wagons crowded together it is very realistic. Hopefully, no one will object on PC grounds to the circus animals.
Can you post a picture and give dimensions of the missing wheel. The axle looks very similar to the old jeep axle and if that is the case, then it may be that a jeep wheel will fit, and I'm sure I have spares of those, although I cannot guarantee the colour but we'll see.
If the wheel can't be replaced, then the strongman could appear holding up the corner of the trailer where the wheel is missing.

Nice set up Elaine! - you've got the blue ticket trailer which I've been wanting for ages ;D
The grass effect cloth is also a very good idea and looks very effective! :)9

A very impressive set up Elaine! I particularly like the strongman, and the Knife Thrower.
I recently watched an episode of Bones where she and Agent Booth go undercover and join a Circus as a Knife-throwing act.

The knife thrower set is one of my favourites - I like the sparkly costumes!
I can't find it on PlaymoDB.
I think it may be 'Estrelle?' but I'm not sure
I'll post a thread and close up photo on "What is this" and see if anyone knows where it's from and if it's complete.

Thank you all for all your positive comments.
I was very lucky with the purchase of some of the items recently:
The Romani Circus (boxed) was only about £14 and only missing the trapeze artists shoes and 1 flag but also including extra clowns and the band.
The trailer with the grey shutters I got for £7.50 - completewith all original klickies and in excellent condition + extra clowns, I was amazed at how good it was when I opened it.
The other circus things I've been collecting for a number of years.
I'm looking forward to setting it up for the exhibition, together with the other new things I've got since taking these photos.

Excellent set up !!!! I love the circus !!!

I am so envious of your collection! I would love to get my hands on that knife thrower. What a delightfully sick and twisted little toy! Your collection looks great!

What a great set up, Elaine. I have never seen most of these sets. You must have had a ball setting them up! Thank you so much for the pictures.

this looks fantastic! such fun. it makes me want to get *my* circus out of storage--perhaps the next rainy day will find the kiddos and me "under the big top". Thanks for sharing!

really nice :) I love your circus, even if you couldn't give enough room for everyone
