Title: Help with cargo hall lifting barrier

I'm planning to buy the lifting barrier parts from DS.  So far, from playmoDB I've worked out that I need the following:

Now I think that part 30 26 7660 needs some sort of base to attach to but there doesn't seem to be one in the inventory.  Can anyone help, please?

The part 30 26 7660 clips into the barrier arm 30 62 922. So it swings in to and out of the way when the barrier is raised up.

Gordon, I've got 2 of the cargo zones, & the red part 30267660 you are referring to, pivots on the 30269222 striped barrier bar keeping it from sagging when it's in the down position. When you lift the barrier bar, it swings back into the barrier bar & swings down to support the bar in the down position.

Yes, looking at the instructions, you will only need these 5 parts + 2 red System X connectors for the bottom of the blue post bit. The grey base might also be a good idea as it is weighted, and has a cut out for the weight to drop into, athough you probably have wider plans :)

Thank you Walt, Bill and Damo.  :wave:   I wondered if that was how it worked but looking at the picture of the box front on playmoDB I didn't notice the support hanging down from the raised barrier.

I'll buy one or maybe two for controlling access to the fire station car park and drill yard.
