Thank you so much for posting these. I really felt I didnt have enough time when I was there, because the kids are not as patient as we are I wasn't happy with the pictures I took. Luckily Macgayver to the rescue.

It was the first time a saw dioramas on this scale and I was stunned. It got my Playmobil vibes going and let me here.
I am so happy we managed to go and I am so happy that I can now look at your wonderful pictures to remember that great day!

Amazing once again!! So much work!!! How much time does it take to set one of these?
Loved the viking diorama!!! how the monks are fleeing from the vikings and there is only a farmer with a pitchfork to help them get away going up against a charging viking!!! and the rats running for the water!!! And the abbey!!! What a great steck work!!! Bravo!!!
and the Roman circus!!
And of course congratulations to Daniela on the opera!!! So many details!!! Loved it!! Really loved it!!! There is a picture of modern workers and a venting machine mixed with actors who wear Renaissance cloths and crowns!!! So much fun!!!

Ours had a preparationtime from three weeks full time at home
Building time at the fair, aprox six hours

I was there in Utrecht and saw them. Really really great!!
