Hello
I have had 3 playpeople knights and accessories, and 3 early Polizei motorbikes with riders missing for about a year now and can't find them anywhere :-\
I know I can't of sold them because I very very rarely sell any Playmobil, and I'm always losing Playmobil short term, for example my pirate ship sails, but thy usually turn up.
I don't understand where these could have gone because I am a very tidy and organised person, so, does anyone else lose playmobil mysteriously or is it just me? :-\

I never loose items ...
I even know where they are ...
Most of time somewhere in one of the many boxes I keep in the shed.
Or in one of the other boxes ...
or somewhere in the cupboard.
Somwhere ...
You see - I know where each part is: it's somewhere.
now only a way to figure out where "somewhere" is ...

I think i have lost a few pieces, only to find them again in different boxes, bags, or drawers...I try never to loose anything, and if i cannot find it, i search again and again until i find it!!!

Several times already, I bought pieces at eBay or DS that I knew to have but had no idea where... :-[
Does this count as lost? ;)
Maybe your policemen are undercover?

I lost all my playmospace playmobil ( all sets ) , many modern ones ( well police and fire brigade, construction ) from the late 70s and early 80s, about 150-200 klickies in total , plus other toys in a flood. I was so so upser i never bought any playmobil from 1991 to 1998 , but i surely bought quite a few just in 1998 to maek up for the loss, around 800 klickies i think back then !!!!

I used to 'lose' things such as hats and hair and accessories because my eldest son would change them round after I had sorted them all out (I also have been known to sift throught the dustbag from the vacuum cleaner thinking that it had picked up a small piece such as a cuff or flower :-[)
Mainly though I know roughly where most things are - my problem is getting to it past piles of boxes etc.
I was quite impressed this weekend because I emptied and sorted out the boys' bedroom and the only piece of Playmobil I found lying about was one flower.

You may want to hang a reward poster in your house to find a perpetrator that may be responsible for an elimination contract ;)! I'm just saying,.......

Never knowingly lost any Playmobil, at least nothing larger than a sword, but I did once lose a toy jeep. I had a pack of giant playing cards, and I used to enjoy building a card house with them and running this jeep into it. One time I ran the jeep in, the cards collapsed flat, and the jeep was gone. Never saw it again. My theory is it was abducted by aliens as an example of Earthling vehicular technology. Boy are they gonna be surprised when the invasion fleet lands and they discover it was a 1/32 scale model.

I never lose, but then, I have very little yet.
Even so, it's quite a big deal of bits. All of them are there!
I concentrate all in one wardrobe, most bits in one box. (Not much, though, as I said.)
I have three small boxes (about 20x10x8 cm) of klickys.
I don't have only brand new stuff (as I would think, in the beginning), once a few playmofriends gave me stuff, in the beginning of my collection, and I was very blessed by bits I'd not yet have if they hadn't sent me.
I didn't intend to use eBay, but, recently, I was taking a look at a few things, and realized that, as soon as I can, I will ...
I can't lose anything. I go out everyday with a box full of bits, and one klicky. The bits are listed, and the klicky is the going out one.
(Sometimes, Fred and Masie as well.)
If I lose anything, I'll notice! :hmm:

Ps. And I don't have a garden ... ::)

Touch wood I've not lost anything big yet as to smaller parts I must have lost loads but didn't realise it until I find a cannon ball in my jeans pocket, or a sword in the flowerbed :eh?:
I don't remember dropping stuff everywhere but I must leave a trail around the house!
Could it be the same thing stealing your PM as the socks that go missing as well? Is there just one in the washing machine?

Hello
Congrats on finding your lost Klickies. I really do not know if I have lost anything but I sure must have. I try not to look for stuff as to avoid the disappointment which leads to frustration by not looking for stuff ;) I do not have all my parts in the original boxes and I do not have a master inventory on all parts, so if 50 little parts were gone tonight I would not know tomorrow . I keep everything set up and out and our boys play with it all so it is constantly moving in some way. We do have rules about keeping track of it and do not spread it all over the property. When anything goes out on an adventure each kid is to keep track of his lot and return it to its home. I do know that one of my sons buried an unknown small number of klickies in our 1000 yard wood chip pile. I know were it is and someday it will show up on the farm but I do not have it in hand.

My children used to quite often lose (or chew) the small pieces of sets and it drove me crazy, especially when they were items that couldn't be easily replaced through the DS. I felt like a very bad mum always reminding them to be careful not to lose stuff whenever they were playing. :-[
I have lost a batch of bagged red Maltese knight figures (half a dozen, I think) in this house several years ago. I keep thinking they'll turn up one day, having fallen behind a cupboard perhaps or into the wrong box, but so far no luck! :(

I was always very careful with my toys when I was young(er) Box came down, Klickies came out to play, Box went back with everything back inside the set. 0)
Your Maltese knights will turn up eventually, like my knights and polizeimen, at the most unexpected of times and in the most unexpected of places - although being several years ago, sad to say, you have probably had it :(

I symphathise Sylvia, but my story had a good ending. After 6 months of being puzzled I found two D&D books behind the washing machine. when found I could imidiately remember when it must have happened :-)
It's like the non-sequiter, think of where it could be the least and start your search there :-)

Hi
Isn't is funny how trying to teach responsibility seem to be mean 8} We as adults (not including myself of course) seem to think that kids do not value the toy if they do not care for it as we do ::)
I would wish you "good luck" on your search but after 2 years I think you may need a little more than luck now. Maybe just "dumb luck" will find them
