Title: Royal guards for fairytale castle...
Post by: Wolf Knight on May 21, 2010, 20:40:12
Hello playmofriends!!!

You all know the 4568 royal hornsman or herald in 3019 dream castle... I like them...but not so much...I know that heralds like these, or hornsmen, used to wear these silly pajama like trousers...this was the way they were supposed to dress at those ages anyway...

But, what if we take some of their accessories and make a more serious guard for the good fairy tale king????

I took off their pyjamas and dressed them on black...

Since their coat of arms garment (whats it called? ) is gold i tought it would look good over a black torso...

And since this gold helmet is a distinctive one, i used just gold bracers (did not wanted to load them with loads of armor as they are ceremonial...but battle ready) and the legs with the gold boots!!!

I think they look more serious now...

Thanks for visiting!!!

Panps, do you have a photo of the guards before you dressed them in black? I would love to see how you have changed them from the original.

Just the job for ceremonial guards, Panos; well thought out and very nicely done customs.  And the overcoat is called a tabard.
