That's an easy one.
Never.
As far as I knew that head was only ever produced by Antex. Apparently, it was also produced by Lyra.
But it was never produced by Geobra.

WOW :o! I've never seen that version before! Very good information!

I think that old version reminds me of the old silent movies where white folks were painted as coloured folks . similar paint paterns i think !!! I think the later version are much better and more realistic , the older versions are weird looking . Have a couple of these klickies someplace

Now that you mentioned it, they do look like the old silent movie characters :hmm:!

I like the figures with just black eyes and black smile like the children
figures. The white/black eyes look to "vaudeville". I wrote to Playmobil
when they first came out years ago , but it seems they like the "beady"
eyes. :2c:
Best regards,
Jimbo

Actually, I believe that the ones with the white-eyes aren't older.
The first ones I can remember were with the Pirateship (3550) and the acrobats (3512) from 1978.
Pretty early!
Can't find dates for the creepy face though.

i know that too i've never seen it in the playmobil boxes !!!!!!! perhaps the white eyes were easily made than the others that's why antex and lyra used them!!!!!

(Which made me think ... There's no black guys with eyepatchs, unshaved, and the like ...)

Hmmm haven't thought of it that way... it would be more possible for children to know zulu rather than masai...
