Just to show once again the importance of sellers on ebay knowing what they are selling. here is what I won last week on ebay.
(I apologise to Flatcat - I hope you don't think I'm boasting :-[ (Flatcat bid agianst me! )
This was advertised as 'Playmobil cowboys set (big'
It had a very dark photograph (even darker than mine) and so it wasn't immediately very clear to see what it was.
I was thrilled to win it at £17.00 (I might have got it cheaper but for Flatcat ;D) and I was even more thrilled when it arrived.

It didn't mention in the description that there was a box with it! :woohoo:

What I can't understand is why even if he didn't know what it was, the seller didn't put the set number down if he had the box with it on (Not that I mind!)
The only things missing are the 'spills' from the beer, (I must look out for those) the correct sword, a couple of chicks and the friar tuck's cape - and I think I have all of those. There are also extra things that I was looking for too such as the basket that is carried on a klickys back, the poles over the fire and the large storage jars.
So .... I'm one happy bunny today! :D
Here's another pic....

(I _should_ get a job!, and keep look at e-Bay more often ... :o )

17 wow :o :o :o :o :o :o :o was it sealed ??

Congratulations on an excellent acquisition!
As you say, why the seller didn't put the set number is a mystery, that would certainly have increased bidder interest and probably doubled the sale price.

So the seller advertised it as a Playmobil set of cowboys (big), you paid £17 for it and it wasn't as described. That must have been a big disappointment to you and I think you should ask for a partial refund on the grounds of mis-description. ;D
(Anyway, congratulations!)

I totally agree, Gordon!
Elaine should seek legal assistance immediately and sue the bugger for misrepresentation!
(Maybe he has some other sets that he would use to settle the legal suit.) ...
Well done, Elaine!

Thanks Gepetto, I must admit I spend ages looking through ebay listings - I think Sandy starts to worry when he sees I'm watching nearly 200 playmobil items!

No, like I said there are a few bits missing but nothing too important and there were extras too.
