Title: Hello from Connecticut
Post by: jaypegg on April 30, 2010, 21:42:59
Hi to everyone.
I am new here but not new to Playmobil.
My oldest daughter became fascinated with Playmobil at her daycare, and every birthday or Christmas her collection grew. She is now 21!
We have passed down her collection to her younger sister and brother and now I wait for the future grandchild who will also treasure playing with these wonderful imaginative toys.
That is why I love Playmobil. They last forever.
I used to enjoy propping up the boxes around the kids so they could pretend they were in that imaginative place.

Well now even with a house full of teenagers, I am still collecting Playmobil and I just acquired a huge castle that I have no idea how to put together so hopefully my new friends here can give me some pointers.

Glad to hear you are a Playmobil fan, there are never enough of us,
And we all love to share this hobby with others.
Plus you have come at a very exciting time! There is lots of hope around the forum for a better "bond" between collectors and the Playmobil company.
I hope you enjoy yourself. :)

Hello, Jan ...

A big welcome to PlaymoFriends from the warm and sunny United States Virgin Islands (http://www.usvitourism.vi/) (America's Paradise)!

As WoT said, you did indeed join PlaymoFriends at a very exciting time. It seems that Playmobil may be about to launch an official Playmobil Collectors Club!

All the best and happy to have a Connecticut Yankee as a new member,
Richard

Welcome from the South Eastern USA, Jan Jaypegg! It's great to have you with us! If you have the retired 3666 medevil castle you're in luck! If you need to identify which castle you have, go to playmodb.com & click on the knights theme menu, & you should be able to get some hints. Next let us know your findings, & I'm sure we will be able to help you!

Hi Jan!
Welcome to the forum. :*)

Really cute avatar! I have a little boy who would love that as he has been fanatical about pigs for as long as I can remember. ;D

Have fun with your klickies! :)

Welcome

"Im a little lady and im a playperson" lol. Ive been collecting playmobils for the last 27 years. i always take one with me when i go out, she helps me make the tea, and even has words with me in the bathroom lol.

Recently i bought the new playground set, one of the ladies is called Gabrielle and my nephews gran is called "gabby" so she was ideal for him. He loves his playground especially the moving roundabout.

Hes 3.5 years old so is new to playmobil. i love my playmobils as they come with moving parts, my brother gets his playmobil to wave at me playperson sometimes

i have 2 houses that are built (for the 2 towns that i live near) and one in bits (a Victorian one). When i was 12 i missed a years worth of pocket money so i could buy the Victorian house (the 1st one).
