We are big fans of the show "LOST" at our house. We had a blast the other day recreating the island and all of the inhabitants just for fun. The more we got into it, the better some of our character creations became. I thought I would share our creations. Admittedly, some of the figures are better than others for those of you who know the show. We were limited to the klickies I have. After this project I so desperately want the jet and some jungle ruins to complete our scenes. The scenes focus mostly on the first and second season, so no recent spoilers are given away. Enjoy!

Last ones. Frank doesn't really fit my season 1 and 2 time frame, but the figure was pretty good so I included him. With enough playmo parts one could recreate the entire series with temples, airports, crazy Dharma initiative stations and barracks. Always wanting more... :D

I really like all of your scenes, and the plane stuck in the trees was cool!

Who are the Others? Oh my, that's a complicated question. The story goes that there is a jet plane crash on the island and the TV show follows the trials of the survivors (this is what my pictures show scenes of). The Others are a group of people who, while not indigenous, have lived on the island for a very long time. They started as mysterious unknown people who abducted some of the survivors of the crash. Over time it has been revealed that their powers and resources are vast, both on and off the island, and their purpose mysterious and possibly spiritual. Are they bad guys or good guys? That is one of the big questions of the series. I think at this point, toward the end of the series, I am leaning toward them being good guys who are protecting the island from great evil.
Mysteries, secrets, and surprises are main features of the show. Along with great character development makes for some of the best TV in years. Seasons one and two are the best, but I still really enjoy the story as they rap it up. :)
