Title: Wonderers II
Post by: Rasputin on February 27, 2010, 22:02:19
part I (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=2508.0)

part II

in the mean time elsewhere......

Welcome to the small out of the way cabin that is about to have some changes made around the ol homestead.

Things were looking good and off to a smooth start. The "Black Belt Boys" are ready to gearing up production. They really are fascinating to watch how efficiently and precisely they get the jobs done. They were turning out to be a great choice for the laborious tasks ahead .

The main reason for them being out here for this task was for their lumbering abilities. The lumber was coming out just right and very suitable for the next phase of the operation. The forest was dense and water was available nearby.

The "Black Belt Boys" were also up to their complex ideas about selectively breading wild animals. The wolf's were making suitable mates and the pups were responding to training well. These hobbies of theirs were popular among the town folk & provided a little extra income as well.

to be continued......

Your photo story has shown great advancements compared to your previous ones! I really like your lighting & sky background! Roasting rats over an open fire along with your restrained wolves are great details!

Hi Bill

Thanks, I too like how these pictures turned out. The lighting was the same as the other cabin photos. I messed with how I was taking the pictures. The sky paper is looking good so I will order the 50' roll now.

Thanks again

Great Pics, Ras!  Nice detail and the lighting is just right.  I gotta get some of that paper, it looks perfect. Love the guy roasting the rat.  I've always heard PM was going to make a Chinese rail road worker but thought better of it, that and a grave-digger.  ;)

What did they do? Open up a restaurant in town? ...  ;D

What's on the menu? Rat Sushi? ...

Kidding aside, Ras ... Your photography and scenes are excellent ...  :wow: :wow: :wow:

Looking forward to the continuation of your story!

All the best,
Richard

Hi Jefe

Thank you for the compliments. The lighting just worked out and I too like how it looks now. The paper I found at a School supply store call of all thing Skool Daze  8} It was $21 for a 50' roll of blue and I could only get 12' of the sky paper. I have an order in for 10 rolls of the sky in the 50' but it will take over a month to get. The Chinese rail worker & digger would have been funny sets , in a controversial sort of way  ;)

Hi Richard

All in due time, I am just going through the painstaking effort in getting some of the setting and characters introduced. It will be a long story on a fast time-line.

Thanks for the compliment

Kudos Rasputin!   Like everyone else I have to say it has been fun watching your stories and photos get  better and better, that is part of the beauty of this board in that it allows us all to share and grow together, good job (10 x 50' rolls of sky paper, are you going to do a Texas story?).

No, that is 10 rolls each of which is 50', that's 500' of sky!  8} If you have enough buffalo you could do Montana.

Well done.
I like your set up.
And your back ground.

It's nice to make displays like that.
