HI Andi
Thanks for the review and clarification on how the girl is all put together ;). Not all girls like their secrets to be known on what makes them look so attractive . I do like how the old seam in between the upper torso and legs was eliminated. I like how this body system looks and will be needing a lot of them.

Thanks, Andi !!!
Why is it that your "quick" reviews are usually a lot better than my long reviews? ...
ONE QUESTION ... ???
How are the legs attached to the "blue" frame?
All the best,
Richard

Thanks, Andi. I notice that there doesn't seem to be much moulding to indicate the toes, something which was done on earlier barefoot versions.

hmmm this looks a one mould system looks like the hands, there two single items you can move.
I find a picture from JOSO from klickywelt !!
Thx JOSO for the picture !
He want to do the splits and broke it.
If you want replace you must destroy !!
ENJOY !

Thank you, Andi !!!
It seems that Bikini Girl uses a pin system somewhat similar to her sheriff cousin from the late 1970s.
However the "frame" system appears to be totally different.
It looks like a conversion would be rather simple. From what you've shown us in JOSO's picture, perhaps it would be just a matter of drilling out the factory pin and replacing it with a vinyl pin that just fits snug enough to hold everything together, but still permits repositioning of each leg.
Thanks again and all the best,
Richard
See attachments of Playmobil's 1970s sheriff with movable legs.

Very interesting to see the internal workings of both Bikini Girl and the '70s Sheriff.
I'm glad they didn't go with separately moveable legs, they don't really add much play value unless you also have moving ankles to reposition the feet, and then you have more parts to break off.

Actually, Martin, the 1970s sheriff did have "moving ankles" ... ;D

Funny. I find it coherent of Playmobil not to have made legs to move independently in this new leg pattern. It goes with the others. (Except for soccer klickys, which have a very specific purpose ...)
All in all, I don't need (I myself ... I see that others may feel they need this) klickys with legs moving independently.
Well, this is a very personal matter, I think.

I am sorry for entering the topic rather late, but I jsut wanted to say something.
I am a little perturbed at when this might be going...
I think this legs system is interesting and ok, but I would rather keep the old legs...
The sheriff legs seem ok to me though.

What's the matter, WoT?
Are you afraid that Playmobil might someday become like the old Fisher-Price Adventure People?
I guess we should all be very afraid that there is always that possibility ... :(o):
Think positive,
Richard

The surfer girl looks almost like a polly pocket.

Ohh, well that is good.
Thank you Erik.

Thanks for posting these photos. . . so, is it possible to remove the legs without breaking them in two?

Going back to replies about playmobil changing the way its klickies are moving....well, it would not be playmobil for me...And as Richard said, it would be trouble for children to make the figure stand...after long hours of play the pins would be very loose... Totaly difficult for a collectror to find a smooth and tight joint klicky....
On the other hand, this one piece leg is actually a devised one for the standards legs...just thinking of a klicky without its pants... :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D

"standards legs...just thinking of a klicky without its pants... "
i would like to see that too but i think it would be inappropriate for children ?? this biciny girl i think it's a little alien to playmobil and bad disighned

The sheriff I had in the 70s didn't have moving ankles. What set was he in?

Kidding aside, the folks a Playpeople (Louis Marx) spent a lot of time creating that "kickin' klicky" sheriff prototype. Interesting that they made articulated legs and ankles, but did nothing with the wrists or hands ... Which in my humble opinion, was a much more important upgrade!
All the best,
Richard
