Thank you, thank you, thank you!

(Please excuse me as I wipe the drool from my lip! :D) Those trains are beautiful - and there are so many I still do not have... This doubles my resolve to clear the basement and build my rail, port, zoo, victorian, medieval, modern empire!

I had forgotten how wonderful those old Playmobil train catalogues were! ... :)

Richard

Hello, Jean Luc ...

I was looking at some of the older posts and came across this wonderful one that you made. Of course I had to look at all of the scans again ... :)

Even though my collection was started early enough to include almost all of the trains pictured, I'm still a little sad that Playmobil discontinued their fabulous electric trains.

Thanks again, Jean Luc for a GREAT post !!!

All the best,
Richard

Look at all those old wagons... There is one wagon for every need of transport you could ever imagine... I miss good old days...  :'(

Hello, Jean Luc, Kristian and Henry ...

I've attached a photo of a corner of my train storage room in our home on Vancouver Island. If you want to see some more photos, please let me know and I'll start a new thread.

All the best,
Richard

OK, Kristian and Jochen, I will try to get a new thread started tomorrow. And, I will put a link from here to the new thread.

Hmmm ... wonder if the new thread should be under "Trains" or "Film and Photography" ... ???

And, what should the new thread be called ?  "Storage Room" or something else ... ;)

All the best,
Richard

Richard, what about the Collector's Corner (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?board=20.0)? The subtitle says: "Show us your collection and discuss anything rare or of special interest to collectors" ... just an idea. Maybe Sylvia can help out here.
