Title: The dragon's scorching lair
Post by: Skypurr Jr. on January 17, 2010, 13:55:21
After using some special blue film ("fantasy film") for water in some other photos, stealing borrowing some red film from Mum's craft room gave me inspiration for this firey dungeon - enjoy.....

If you're wondering, i used the film to cover the camera lens.

Nice effect! I can feel the heat haze shimmering the air!

Is that a seam of crystals running from front to back?

Will there be adventurers trying to steal into the cave?

Hi Jr S.

What a neat effect you created using you "borrowed" film. What looks like imperfections in the photo actually ad to the heat effect. Nice job  :wow:

You know Martin, that's given me an excellent idea for a photo story! Unfortunately I've got school tomorrow, so i probably won't have time.
Thanks for all your positive comments guys, I'll have to encourage Mum to make some of her own!

:-\ Sorry I havn't got my photo story yet, I've been too busy helping Mum sort out some old toys to sell make some more space for some other things *cough playobil cough*  ;)  But I have got the basic idea for the story in mind. I got lots of playmobil rocks and plants in the post the other day, so I might use them for my story. Thanks for your comments!

You have used that reddish film to excellent effect!  :D  Just looking at the pictures makes me feel as if there's sweat dripping down the back of my neck and suspense building as I worry about when I'm going to run into the lair's scaly, winged owner.  You should definitely consider creating more story based on this place.  :)
