Hi Giorginetto

In Playmobil's catalog aren't they referred to as "Click System"  ???

The brown wall toasts should still be available as they are part of the Steck houses in the DS catalogue.  However, the part number you quote is an old one as they are all 8 digit now.  Where you have a 7 digit number you should add a 0, zero, to the end.

Hmm. I wonder if they will let you order so many in one go.
Hopefully your DS contact is understanding about the needs of collectors. :crossed:

Hi Rasputin

I am not sure  about that name actually ...good question... didnt find anything anywhere relating steck name and PM yet..

Point earlier about toasts being still live parts ..  bought  a number of red and yellow houses recently and they have no toasts ... they have on both sides the walls than need no toasts .... But the double house with barn 7145  does so i will be contacting DS in germany asi have done before , lol i stil have the letters they sent me back in the very early 90s when i was sending them large lists and asking if i can have them in the numbers i wanted ( 100 rifles, 100 horses etc etc )

About what you said Sylvia I hope they are helpfull . otherwise will buy more at ebay , they do pop up in fair quantities from time to time as i have noticed

Hello, Giorginetto ...

The German word "steck" means to "put" or to "place" in English. The German word "steck" means "mettre" in French. So, it seems that the "Sieck System" simply means to put or to place pieces (of the same system) together.

That's my best guess ...  ;D

Don't forget when ordering that the toast come on sprues, in eights, so don't order 400, order 50.

I got caught out ordering the cleats for pirate ships, and ended up with a huge number of spare cleats.
