Title: Does Ambulance station 3432 go with safari?
Post by: flatcat on December 04, 2009, 17:20:23
Hi,

I've been looking at different sets at which to extend my vintage safari layout with, and can't decide whether the 3432 ambulance station goes with it or not ???
It's not listed anywhere as safari (as far as i've looked) but it does have the other safari sets pictured on the sides of it's box, in the lovely dioramas that they used to have on the boxes

I personally think that it would look great in a safari layout, i'm just puzzled, and want to know what anyone else thought...

I think the kit has a nice 'colonial' feel to it and would not hesitate to include it with the safari sets, what could happen? I might have a couple of chimps running around to help 'smooth the edges'.

I AGREE SO FAR WITH YOUR OPINION THAT IT GOES BEST WITH THE SAFARI THEME  :)9!

It's design and name (Ambulance Station) say very much to me that it goes with the safari theme, so go ahead and use it with it.

And for those who now feel they can't use it with the city life theme, why not if it does the job you want it to?  It clearly is rather old, temporary structure in city life terms but still fits in there too.

I somehow allways associated Albert Schweitzer with that set - so go ahead and use it!
I would!

If i had it  :(

I'm still curious why it's not catagorised as safari anywhere  :eh?:

But oh well... if it fits in then it fits in  :)
