In the garage of a very nice elderly man. I am so happy, this is the biggest 'find' so far. All new in their original brown Playmobil factory boxes.

Did his name start with an R and was he home at the time ?

That is quite a find . Coming across a stash like that must have very exciting.  Was he a collector or did he have a shop ?

It is a Christmas Miracle 2 months in advance  :o :o

Could you please tell us more about the circumstances surrounding these findings ?

Was this Gentleman an Owner of a Toyshop ?

I am intrigued and I am surely not the only one  :yup:...

Thank you for sharing these wonders with us  :wow: :wow:

No, his name did not start with an R (not his first name and not his last name  :)). This gentleman told me he bought these boxes from a local toystore which closed down many years ago and every now and than with Christmas or birthdays he would pull out a box and give it to his grandchildren. I guess the grandchildren started complaining that they received the same sets over and over again  8}, so I was so fortunate to buy them from him. I have found many rarities but this was unbelievable.

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful story with us  :wow: :wow:!!!

I would say that I expected his surname to start with a S like Santa!!!

Yes, I think that the kids got a little "bored" with receiving the same sets every Christmas and one knows that today's kids are very focused on what they want and sets like the Egyptians must top their wish list opposed to old sets that are pure magic for us...well they will learn in time :yup:...

WOW  :o! You have acquired some excellent treasures for sure! Are you going to auction them off, or hold on to all of them  ????
