Born 1976. Still interested in toys in general and Plymobiles in particular. In the process (corrently) of rebuilding a Royal Schooner and converting a Black Corsai into a Fishing Boat (about 90% done). Also planning to build a SG Atlantis-inspired castle.
I thought I was the only one with this seemingly odd fasination; It's a little conforting to know I'm not.
I don't now what you want to know about me, so I'm kinda making this up as I go along...

If the other Playmofriends knew how many times I sneaked back on one of my messages after posting it >:D, but shushhh they are not to know about it  !!!

Welcome Andy,
those sound like fascinating projects! I'd love to see progress photos and the finished articles. There are many great customisers here on Playmofriends, though my own efforts are currently very limited.
If you can get to a craft shop to look at fmaterials, people have had success with various fabrics to replace sails, and a slight stiffness to the fabric makes it hang better.
Take a look at some of the convention photos in various threads and you'll see that not only are you not alone, you're quite restrained in your collecting!
cheers, Martin

I am in Sonoma County but do go to Shasta Lake for house boating. The kids are getting bigger so we will start those yearly trips again .

Greetings and welcome Andy from the Great Pacific Northwest!! Rasputin is right, if you look at some of the convention photos you will breath a sigh of relief that you are actually normal (relatively speaking, then you will start making a wish list looking at all the other sets! ).
