Title: 3526 EUC fire engine review.
Post by: Bill Blackhurst on June 23, 2009, 21:31:22
The following pictures are from a recent purchase of a German fire department theme job lot. There were 2 vehicles, & multiple accessories included in the auction contents. After receiving the items, it was found that the pictures of the vehicles displayed in the auction did not do the rare items true justice, lucky for me. The following vehicles will be of several assigned to the Playmobil City International Airport Fire Department. As other units on order arrive, there will be additional reviews. I hope you enjoy the review of these awesome trucks.

Hi Bill

You have such a large collection dedicated to the Fire Dept that I was wondering if you participate to Playmobil exhibitions at all ?

By the way, are there large Playmobil Collectors gathering in the US ?

Thank you for sharing your Collection with us  :wow: !!!

Karim :)

Hi Karim!
Thank you for your positive feedback in regards to my latest addition! In this country, there are no public exhibitions for Playmobil collectors to my knowledge, & even if there were they would be in a part of my country that would be financially unattainable for me! I'm starting to show some of my collection on you tube videos to fill the lack of popularity here!

My dad used to be the fire chief of the local town fire department so it's obvious I used to own both fire cars. Yours seem to be in excellent shape (much better than mine  :'(), congrats!

Congratulations Bill, I know how much you needed more trucks!  Those really are nice looking rigs and I agree with everyone else that you were very lucky (or was it fate?). I will have to look for your videos on Youtube.

They are very difficult to find in pristine condition. Ususally they are missing key parts that are not able to be found anywhere. That is why I resorted to customizing 8 of the 12 that I have with 4 being in pristine or excellent used original condition.
