Hello to all!

I made myself a member to this forum because I felt the need to read more about Playmobil than I'm currently doing. I've been a collector for 12 years now (on top of the 12 years during my childhood), mainly medieval stuff and the sets/parts that fit into medieval setups. Like many of you, I'm a fond of the old steck buildings and steck as a system in general. Over the years, I've learnt to like some Sys-X parts as well so that my collections contains some Sys-X buildings. Some of you will know my Steck castle Neveling I built back in 2006. Greetings from the South Eastern USA Ken! I've admired your Neveling Castle for a while now, it's quite impressive! The medieval theme is one theme that I have wanted from afar, but have been reluctant to start collecting, due to availability! I have been collecting as an adult for about the same time as you. It all started one fateful evening in 1998! I'm an anything modern collector, partial to the fire, police, & rescue series with fantastic friends on this forum with the same rare interests! But, I must confess that like so much more than funding will allow! Again welcome to our forum, we hope to see you participate regularly on all of our boards! Please check out the new noncompetitive picture sharing board designed by Ras, & Gepetto, & try to submit a related photo!

A warm welcome from Florida!  Sadly, I am not familiar with your castles...would you consider posting a few photos?  I'd love to see them!  I agree with Bill--the Medieval theme is one I love to look at, but have been reluctant to leap into!  (Which is just as well--we're spending enough on the other themes as it is! :lol: :lol:)

Hello Kenc, It will be a pleasure to have you here with fellow collectors and friends . Your photograph skills are simple amazing and I am sure there will be many fans of you work in here . Not only do you have your castle Neveling but your church would be an added bonus if you could share it as well, especially the night pictures  ;). Glad to have you aboard and go easy on us in the new picture sharing project  :lol: we all have not yet mastered the art of photography.

I'm very happy that you decided to join Playmofriends. It's been a long time since I've seen any of your great creations.

I'm a modest medieval and pirates (and Romans ::) ... and Vikings ... 8} ) collector, from Rio, Brasil. (Started my collection as an adult admirer of Playmobil, around March last year.)

Hope you enjoy it here. It can be like a home.
