 :) Hello playmofire,

first time I use this city name, it is was for a custom of doctor (Doctor Sheffield, do you remember?). Now, I made this dioram and use a same name again. I haven´t more clear explanation than I like this city name (like I would choice: London, Kanterbury, Liverpool, etc...), it sound and look for me well. Some germans or foreigners would say "Le docteur de Toulouse" or " Le photographe parisien". I never was in Sheffield. I permise me a small dream to show a Playmo dioram, nothing else. I hope you agree and I give you a explanation you are waiting.

It's Gordon actually, but don't worry I'll answer to any name where Playmobil is concerned!

Yes, I remember your Doctor Sheffield.  Diane, my wife, lived in Sheffield from 1958 for about 10 years and some of her family still do. It's not the most exciting of places, I'm afraid, although it has improved in recent years.

Love those tailcoats!

As usual it's the details that really make a picture, and the remote squeezebulb for the camera took my eye, very nice touch there.


I like the beard on the gentleman on the far right, off a pirate or an Egyptian unless I'm mistaken. Victorian Gentlemen were greatly into their facial topiary, and this is a magnificent specimen.
