Title: Lady Justice
Post by: Little Jo on December 29, 2008, 08:39:15
McGayver posted somewhere a custom Lady Justice figure, here is my contribution.

Like "MrPainterElf" I just need this figure for a special purpose: in my case for the illustration of the disclaimer pager on me Web site.

Nice one, Jochen, and a wonderful example of integrating Playmobil into web design.

OK, Jochen ...

I give up!

I checked Heather's PlaymoDB (http://www.playmodb.org/) and could not find the scale that "Lady Justice" is holding. Did you make it?

BTW ... Great custom !!!

All the best,
Richard

Wonderfull custom, Little Jo !!!

The scales are indeed a custom - I recognise the sword-hilt that has been used as the basis. However, what are the cups and rope made off, Little Jo ???

Indeed a scale of that type isn't in the Playmobil portfolio so far (sadly :(). So like MacGyver I had to customize one by myself. Bogro recognized it corretly that for the basis I used the handle of a sword. The rope is thin wire and the cups are made ... for sure from a cup ;) or to be more precise in the terminology of Heather's DB: a silver Goblet.

I used this one: 30 09 5720 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-09-5720)
Sanded down the cup right to its bottom and removed the handle.

I hope so too. Currently I'm on vacation so I should find time to work on the one or other item. (And happily there are already some pieces ready and just have to put into the right light/setup for photographing  :D)

Thanks, also for reposting your pic.

Hm, your top body with the lower neck line looks even better. Think I have to replace my complete white upper part of body by such a piece ...

p.s.: Any hint for me which female figure has this neck line print? (Or is it customized?)

errrr not customized , think she came from an old medieval set

3659  maybe but on PMDB she has a white body on collectobil also

on the other hand

I have a whole serie sisters from her with a naked neck
I think it depends on wich year the set came out

Great custom Little Jo, love the way you attached the cups to the sword with the wire!

Ah, ok. Thank you.

Unfortunately this is set to old and I do not have it. So I think I have to customize it or look for another solution.

BTW on playmoDB it is with naked neck (cf. here (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=k3659b)); I think on the box shown on collectobil the naked neck is hidden by the necklace.

Hello Little Jo :)

For want of a better word i am speachless . Your custom's have allways been first class but this is amazing. I honestly couldnt tell that the scales were custom made. I never even realised Playmobil didn't do such an item, i thought they must be from another theme 8}. As i said above i couldn't honestly tell you had made them untill Richard said :wow:. I cant wait to see more of your work.

Tim :wow:

He definitely made that! It's one model of sword, that he cut ... I don't know what he used for the dishes, though ... 8}

It's nicely done!
Wonderful!

Hopefully your blind justice will be honest, swift and fair . As the saying around these parts goes "Law is in the interest of the strong"

Great custom, at first when i saw the title i was sure it was MacGayver's and was pleasantly surprised that we have two of her, swinging her sword of justice around .  :)9
