Because my brother is a certified ecclesiastical musician and a professional pipe organ player I made him this christmas a special present: a model of an organ pipe. For him it's an 1:20 model, for me it's an Playmobil customized item ;D
Finished the work ...

Little Jo, that is very impressive :wow:! Was this a kit,or Playmo parts custom?
-
No kit, just a Playmo custom work (PM parts are only the pipes, the keyboards, and the sheet of music together with its holder; rest is individual customizing with different materials).

That is a superb two manual organ, Jochen; great work. I must show Diane it as she is an organist. I like the detail of the church mouse, they really do exist! :) Twice in the last two years we have come across a mouse during a church service. The first occasion was during a funeral when as I was doing one of the Bible readings I noticed a mouse sitting washing behind his ears! He was a real cartoon mouse with bright pink ears and paws. The second time was during a Maundy Thursday service in a different chuirch when a very small, young mouse started running around the congregation who were sitting in a semi-circle. At the end of the service, one of the members caught the mouse and put it outside near a handy mouse hole.

EXCELLENT attention to detail! Beautiful!

Beautiful job Little Jo! You really "pulled out all the stops" on this one.
P.S. I can see the family resemblance

Hi Little Jo,
it look well, I like very much. I had a same question for the construction and I´ve readed your answer to Bill Blackhurst.
I´m sure that we will see in the next time some over customs made with this pipe.
Thanks for all photos.

You make such beautiful creations, Little Jo ... :wow: :wow: :wow:
Your pipe organ is so realistic, that when your brother sat down to "try out the instrument" ... I would not have been surprised to have actually heard an ecclesiastical hymn (http://www.tc.umn.edu/~sorem002/it_came_upon_the_midnight_clear.mid) or two (http://www.tc.umn.edu/~sorem002/god_rest_ye.mid).
Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful gift.
All the best and a Healthy, Prosperous and Happy New Year,
Richard

Hello Little Jo :)
I am speechless, all i can say is WOW :wow: I honestly thought that the casing was Playmobil, because i couldn't tell that its custom made. I have gone back and looked at it and it still looks like an original Playmobil set. This really is a masterpiece Little Jo, thank you for sharing it with us :wow:!

Thank you for your very kind feedback and taking time to look at, everybody. I'm happy you liked it.

If you would have seen it from the back or from the bottom you wouldn't say this anymore
So hopefully Playmobil is reading here and deciding to make an original one by themselves offering such an item to a broader community ('cause handling my piece isn't easy due to it's fragile pieces, especially the pedals)
p.s.: Wow, this church is really big and lovely executed with this "colonnade". Actually my organ pipe would fit to it better than the regular sized church (maybe it's more a chapel).

WOW !!!!

The pipe organ looks really good.
If you would have seen it from the back or from the bottom you wouldn't say this anymore
That's part of the magic!

Both great customs - the organ as well as the church, and both would go excellent together.

That is one fine piece of work! :yup:
Very well done. :wow:

What a wonderful work... I'm a fan of deep purple and his hammong organ...
-
WOW! What a superb piece of craftwork!
What really impresses me (aside from the amazing attention to detail and neatness) is how well-proportioned it is.
It looks like the organist's hands and feet reach the keys and pedals just perfectly.
Lovely job, Jochen! Thanks for all the pics and explanations. :)

Very nice :)9
I like it a lot.
