Hello Everyone :),
I hope you have been enjoying the pictures so far. As promised here is the next installment :)9.
It has become a brigade tradition that anyone who visits my fire service has their pictures taken with the fire fighters at the host fire station and the Chief Fire Officer. This is allways organised for the day after their arrival as most of the men will be too tired for anything else. It is quite a formal occasion and there is a lot of hand shaking and posing for the camera. It was a very cold morning by our standards and even more so for the men from PCFD but they braved it out and we have some great pictures. We were also able to meet a very distinguished guest and official brigade photographer while we were on. It was decided that all training exercises and events would be recorded for Bill's reference. As a result our mystery guest kindly offered to do the rest of the camera work for Bill throughout his stay.
A Special guest arrives to take the pictures but can anyone guess who he is ?

"Hello Bill, its nice to meet you again. I take it you and Tim need my assistance with some pictures"

Yes that's right its our very good friend Gordon. A dab hand with the camera and allways willing to help out where pictures need taking. Gordon had not long finished a stint in the USA taking some pictures for Bill

Bill hands over a selection of photography and recording equipment for use during their stay. It looks like Gordon might need an assistant at some point ;)

Gordon pulls out a spare tripod to replace the one Bill forgot in the sheer chaos of organising all the equipment back in the states  ;D

The entire crew of station 23 turned out for the photo shoot. The appliances were pulled into position and the men lined up for the formal introduction. Our Chief Fire Officer or CFO and his assistant the ACFO were also there for the event. The Chief Fire Officer is the highest ranking officer in our fire service.
PCFD fire fighters line up to meet the senior officers of my fire service. They start with Station Officer Gardner who picked them up from the airport the day before.

Enjoyed the intros, Tim ...
Your vehicles are very, very impressive!
Your photo shoots are so enjoyable for even a casual spectator like me.
Thanks and all the best,

Hi again Tim !
I forgot to ask if we were going to get to see the beautiful custom appliances working from all angles, or do I need to consult Playmofire ?
-
Hello Bill,
Thank you very much indeed for the kind feedback. I am glad you are enjoying the story's so far. With the formalities out the way we are certainly going to take a look at some of the appliances in detail. Infact yesterday we did some basic pump training and Gordon had his work cut out getting all those great angles you are after ;D. Infact i have about 50 pictures to post that form the basis of the next story. I have tried to cut them down a bit but its just not going to work and there would be great chunks missing out of the story .
Kindest Regards Tim
Hello Richard,
Thank you very much indeed for the kind reply. I am glad you have found the pictures interesting so far. Its allways hard to keep the casual observer interested but i try my best with every story. Its good to know that this is working and you are benefiting from the content. I am not so sure if the next one will be as interesting as its more 'specific' to fire fans but i have tried to keep it light hearted.
Kindest Regards Tim
Hello Jimbo
Thank you very much for the kind reply. I am glad you found the pictures interesting, hopefully the next batch will prove even more so.
Merry Christmas, Tim

Hi Tim, now I know why I feel so tired today! An excellent story and I was going to say excellent photos too, but that may be seen as being a bit immodest on my part. ;D
-
 Great story. I like those where other members are included.
-
Hello Gordon :)
I am glad you liked the story and how things developed. I noticed you had been doing some potography for Bill recently and thought it wouldn't have been the same without you ! I am not suprised you are tired, especially after the work you did the other day on the up and coming pump training story ;D. I am going to have to find you an assistant for the next stage's of the story as the work load is going to increase ;)
Tim
Hello Little Jo
Thank you very much for the kind reply. I have really enjoyed doing this project so far. As you say including klickies based on members make a lot of difference to the story. I think Bill laid down some very good foundations with the 'charecters' he developed in his leaving story. This has given me the opportunity to develope some fun story lines.

Tim,

Hello Gepetto :),
Thank you very much indeed for your kind reply. I am going to start working on the next stages of the story over the next few weeks. You will certainly be seeing more from Gordon and Bill and there is a chance i might show up aswell  ;)
Tim :)
-
i might show up aswell  ;)
Hooray :woohoo:! Finally we get to see you in action ;)! I would like to see the figure of yourself that you are going to send back for me to use in my photo stories ;D!
-
Hello Bill
My character is not that special i can assure you  ;D. Infact that's why i haven't turned up in the story yet . I am used to (or klicky me) is used to sitting at his workbench in the fire brigade workshop's or passing his time away in the research and development department ;D. I don't get to do any of the exciting stuff apart from working on fire engines and equipment ;D
Tim

Hi Tim !
We need to change that! I was in the same situation, until I kind of made a mistake, & showed up in the leaving for England photo series :-[! With that error, I now have an avatar, & have my face included in some of the stories :-\! I would like for you to do the same :woohoo:! You could have 2 avatars! One would look great with firefighters turnout gear, a helmet, glove cuffs, white hair, & white wizards beard! Then you could have another avatar with the same head, white hair, & white wizards beard dressed in a bibbed overalls body, & ball cap like the technicians in my Klicky City Customization & Mechanical Repair story for your fire brigade workshop photos! It would look great with your avatar showing Playmofriends around your earlier work shop story, pointing to items, telling jokes.... ;D! You could even mount the pet grey mouse on top of your fire helmet, & ball cap! I like having Playmofires avatar show up in our photo stories! It makes it more personal. That's why you need to show yourself too , & come with your crew to the USA for mine, & Ben's photo stories! Please consider this recommmendation!
Best Wishes,
Bill
BTW I am willing to send you some figures to customize if you don't have the type that you like, just let me know :D! I look forward to hearing your opinion regarding this idea!
-
Hello Bill :),
Thank you very much indeed for the ideas. Unfortunaltey the klicky in my avatar is a 'friend' of mine and a very mischevous one at that. If i let him loose in the USA he would cause mayhem. Infact he is currently locked up in a maximum security 'pirate' prison at the moment for causing untold chaos with his mischevous ways. Its not so bad though, he actually likes it there and he has got his pet mice to play with . Here is a link to a previous photo story, it might explain a few things. There are two parts, Part 1 is the first link and Part 2 is the second link. They follow on from each other:
PART 1: http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=1667.0 (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=1667.0)
PART 2: http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=1671.0 (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=1671.0)
I have been buisy organising a visit to the fire service workshop so you can meet me in 'klicky' form . Station Officer Gardner has allready given you the day off so you can deliver the fire hydrant to me ;D . I think you will be suprised by what you find
Kindest Regards Tim
-
Hi Tim !
Thank you for the story behind the figure on your personal page! I was wandering how he was related to your great title of vehicle specialist ???! I really enjoyed the excellent story of the pet mice ! But seriously, we need to come up with an avatar for you in the photo stories, so let's design one everyone can identify with like Playmofires!
Best Wishes,
Bill
-
Hello Bill :),
I totally agree with you on the avatar allthough i wouldn't say 'vehicle specialist' I allways thought that was a touch over the top, but i couldn't think of anything else to put at the time . I might change that along with my avatar in the next couple of days! I got your email Bill, thank you very much for the suggestions. I have saved your pictures for future reference. There are some great combinations that i will look into using for a future photo story. I have to admit i have been wanting to change my avatar for some time now, because i feel i am missing out on all the fun . Derrick certainly doesn't have anything to do with vehicle's and is looking a touch outdated in his current form ;D.

Hello Tim !
I have to disagree with you in regards to your "vehicle specialist" title! I firmly believe you need to leave that title alone! In my humble opinion it suits you quite well :yup:! The projects you keep coming up with using Playmobil parts is amazing! You keep living up to its definition with every custom vehicle that you design, & post on to this forum! I'm kind of partial though, to Derricks white WIZARD's beard that could be put on the fire fighter, or vehicle techinians avatar picture I sent you! It could be used in your avatars picture, because you're a true master of custom vehicle wizardry, & the beard in a way reflects that aspect of mystery :wow:! Just my opinion though :-[!

Tim,
Thank you for the links to Derrick's story, I had always wondered about your avatar and for the longest time I did not recognize the mouse and thought it was a topknot of hair with some kind of oriental twist I was not getting!

Hello Bill :),
Sorry for the delay in replying. I will PM you a little later on to discuss your ideas :) I have been a bit busy tidying my work room out the last couple of days.
Happy New Year Tim :)
Hello Gepetto,
Thank you for the compliments :). The story about Derrick was one of those rare occasions that i stray from the modern day theme. When i started out making photo story's Derrick featured in one about a 'Pirate Prison'. It made him famous and ever since then he has been quite a character. I am planning a new story at the moment, which will be 'made' when i have finished my latest project for Bill. I think it will be a nice change for some of the fans of the 'pirate' theme ;)
Happy New Year Tim
