On December 10 at 1430 hours, Playmobil communications began receiving reports of a house on fire at 918 Riverview Drive.
Fire companies were dispatched for a 1 alarm fire at that address minutes later.
Engines 2, 1, and 3
Medic 1 and 3
Ladder 2
Squad 3, RIT 4 ( Engine 4 )
Car 1 and 5
Engine and Medic 1 arrived on scene and reported light smoke showing from a single story structure. Crews quickly entered the structure and found heavy fire in a rear bedroom.
-
Engine 2 arrived on scene and tagged a hydrant while ladder 2 went to the roof for ventilation.
-
Engine 2's crew quickly searched the residence and Engine 3 took a second hoseline into the structure. The fire was knocked down in about 20 minutes.
-
The Chief released most fire companies within an hour. Engine 1 and 2 with ladder 2 stayed on scene for the investigation and overhaul.
-
The fire is believed to have been started by an electric space heater. Crews held the fire to the rear of the house, but the home is still a loss. Damage was determined to be $80,000.00. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
I hope everyone enjoyed these pictures and thanks for taking the time to view them.

Another great story, Ben. Many thanks for sharing it. I see new levels of detail in the structure with glazing in the windows, and I like the detail of the family car in the driveway and the "smoked" helmets.

Hello Ben,
Awesome story :wow:. I can only echo what Gordon has said because he has picked up on the points i was going to make. I really loved the shot of the family car on the driveway. You have got making your houses down to a fine art Ben, i really need to have a go at this myself. I know you are buisy but would you be able to show us how you make them and what tools you use please ? There is no rush, when ever you get chance :)9.
