Title: TRAIN INFO
Post by: Richard on November 30, 2008, 02:38:43

Does anyone know if there is an online data base (like Heather's PlaymoDB) for LGB and/or Playmobil?

Hi Richard

Sorry have been away from this site for a while although I have looked in occasionally.

I have never found a dedicated site for Playmobil Trains or LGB but there is a LGB price guide book out there that lists most items. Was there something in particular you were looking for or was it just a general question.

Regards
Craig

PS Couldnt help but notice that you have retired twice now, work and playmofriends admin, does this mean two pennsions

Hello, Craig ...

I have never found a dedicated site for Playmobil Trains or LGB but there is a LGB price guide book out there that lists most items.

Heather's PlaymoDB (http://www.playmodb.org/) has an excellent Playmobil train section HERE (http://www.playmodb.org/cgi-bin/sets.pl?theme=Train&sortby=setnum&focus=all) and HERE (http://www.playmodb.org/cgi-bin/sets.pl?theme=Western+Train&sortby=setnum&focus=all), but I was hoping for a comparable LGB site that might also include Playmobil. As I'm sure you remember, there were some LGB/Playmobil combination sets.

Was there something in particular you were looking for or was it just a general question?

It was really just a general question, Craig. I was hoping that someone might happen to know of an LGB database.

Just call me a "double-dipper" ...

Thanks and all the best,
Richard

I have recently started a conversion over to electric trains and also would be interested in seeing or finding out about a LGB database . I only recently started and have little track and only 4 engines but i do not see my self stopping the madness . I some day hope to find just the right spot for a garden rail and i am  sure seeing all those sets would be quite inspirational (http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?topic=2626.0)

There's no turning back, Rasputin ...  :(o):

You've crossed over to the "electric side" ... and once youve crossed over ... you are forever hooked. Just ask any one of us  ...

Welcome to the world of electric trains. And, just remember this ... electric trains are the only thing more expensive than a woman ...

You are now one of us ...  ;D

All the best (you'll need it) electric train-man,
Richard

Thanks, Michael ...

Heather has done an outstanding job with Playmobil trains, so it was really a database of LGB and the LGB/Playmobil combinations that I was hoping for.

All the best,
Richard

Richard do you want the current LGB trains that are available or all that have been made?

How's that for a big wish? ...  :klickywink:

Thanks, Macgayver ...

The first LGB Database that you found HERE (http://champex-linden.de/lgb_produktdatenbank/index.html) is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you very much!

BTW ... I saw a set that I had never seen before that would be wonderful with Playmobil's new African Safari theme.
