Title: My catalogue collection
Post by: LHAAP on November 11, 2008, 14:44:24
Hello PlaymoFriends

I want to show you a small part of my Playmobil catalogue collection. I've collected Playmobil catalogues from all over the world since 1995 and the total amount of catalogues is about 400. And this doesn't include pamphlets, flyers, posters etc.

The photos show a small part of main catalogues and news catalogues.

Here we go:

Hi Knight Train

It's a North American catalogue from 1986 with wonderful dioramas inside :)

Thanks for your comment :)

I'm not so privileged that I have an apartment only to store my collection but I have a room where store and enjoy my playmo-collection - and this room is getting too small >:(

Those older catalogs sure had some creative people designing those displays .  I really do wish Playmobil would have continued that form of advertising the new sets , and to think what they could do today with all the detailed modeling supplies / thanks for showing the insides of the 86

LHAAP, thanks for the pictures and scans of the 1986 catalog.  That's got some great pictures,
especially the dioramas of the 4029 pennsylvania railroad train.

Thanks Lars, they are indeed wonderful.  And I spotted three new DS sets to add: 7015, 7019, and 7706! (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/your_set_list.pl?setlist=7015,7019,7706)!

Incredible collection, Lars!

Bet Heather would love to visit you and go through them all ...
(Actually, I imagine that probably most of us would love to visit you in Denmark ... but, in the Spring.) ...  :klickywink:

Thanks for letting us have a peek.

All the best,
Richard
