Title: How to make a dead head ?
Post by: Rasputin on September 20, 2008, 21:57:16
Ok I am not asking about some drugged out flunky who chases after some music band in the quest to get higher . Maybe later

I am curious how or examples of making a Klicke appear dead .
Do i paint his eyes closed , get an old head and wipe his eyes off , he ( in my opinion ) does not look dead with open eyes ? or if you prefer Her death .

Next is how do i address that smirk on the face . Last time i was at a funeral the stiff was not grinning at me .

So what have others done "To Kill A Klickie"........... sound like a movie title :eh?:

Is this dead enough for you?  This was actually a special i did for Halloween a few years ago. It was based on the story of a real haunting, the ghost of a floating torso carrying its legs and arms. Quite grusome i guess but a must for my collection .

Anyway to go back onto the subject of making a klicky appear dead. 'If' i were to do it myself then i would probably paint the eyes over so that they appeared closed. The mouth is more tricky because if you paint it pink you will still have the smiling outline. With my ghost i decided to turn the corners down so it would appear mournfull or sad. It was the only way i could change the mouth without making it look odd. I guess the key is to experiment with a few heads. I know that you wont be able to 'wipe' the eyes off new heads because they are actually moulded in brown plastic like the mouth.

I hope this helps,

Tim
