:woohoo:
the egyptian theme is released in the shops now and playmo has released a corresponding online game.

this time it is more of a game of dice, but I like it.
especially the music is giving me kind of a basar atmosphere that makes me want to buy...

This is a favorite! I like the music and sound effects and he way the game plays (though I don't understand all the pieces). Like the flies buzzing around the mummy, nice touch.

Your pieces are gold, the mummy's are blue.
You spin the rods, to get a score of 1 through 5, and move one of your pieces that number of spaces forward. If it lands on an enemy piece, you swap places. If you spin a 1 or 5, you get another spin.
You move your pieces off the end of the board to win. The water square takes you back to the ankh, but the other blue squares appear to be safe, i.e. you cannot get swapped if you land on them.
The mummy always moves his (or her) nearest piece to the end of the board forward, whatever the spin.

Well, that was what I had figured as to the play. I didn't know if the symbols on the blue squares had any other significance besides being 'safe', that is all.

Nice game ... It's a bit like Brasilian "ludo" (I don't have a clue on how it's called in English ...) :)
I lost the first one, but almost won the second match (had learnt how to play, once my German = 0.2 ...), and didn't play a third, 'cause I went there out of curiosity more than anything ...
If I were a kid, I'd possibly spend a lot of time in it. (Or if I were on vacations ...)
