here in germany you can get 3 Exclusive Figures from the fishshop NORDSEE !

The merpeople Specials (4557 (http://www.collectobil.com/catalogue/items/4557.htm) and 4545 (http://www.collectobil.com/catalogue/items/4545.htm)) were always favourites of mine because of their uniqueness. 8-)
Never thought Playmobil would find a way to recycle the genie from the Wizard's Workshop (http://www.collectobil.com/catalogue/items/3839.htm) and use it in a completely different theme ... but there you go - now he's a Wassergeist! :lol:

Oh WOW! Its been a while since I was really, really this excited over a new release from Playmobil. :D ;) (Yeah I know theyr'e re-releases but they still have me excited). How can I get some, I can get Target US exclusives or something as a trade or I can pay cash money via Paypal. ;) :yup:

There is a Nordsee store right around the corner...
Surprisingly enough as I live so close to the Baltic Sea... ;)
But I am not sure, I will have enough kids to support you all with figures...
It's not like I don't like fish and chips... but for getting several assortments... :0
I read comments in the german board that they are selling the figures
seperately for about 2,50 Euro each...
...seems I have to get some more sendings out before christmas as usual...

So, for me, yesterday was fish day. I got five of each figures but they freely sell them
seperately. So if anyone is interested, I will get as much as possible. As I mentioned,
the restaurant is just around the corner....

I think it will definitely cheaper to ship them together... Shipping from germany to the
US is a nasty expensive thing, but in this case the items are not really heavy or
something. I have to check...
Basically, they are the old specials... But for "hardcore" collectors it is still a new figure
as NORDSEE is printed on the box and on the flyers in the bags... AND it's a game.. ;)
@meg: no problem, put it on your list... It seems I have to go another round...

I'd love them all as well, but I can't justify the expense ... so for those of you that are opening yours, we expect reviews and pictures please ;D
I especially want to see the gameboard and the rules. If I can't have the original, at least I could probably make it myself, and it would be a cool little gift for the little guy.

Good news for you though... The plan can be downloaded for free at the nordsee
homepage...

The game can basically be played without the sets... And the box includes the
game. I can take pictures tonight of the detailled content of the sets...
The game figures are the little fishes and the playmos are just for special events.
As the games instructions are in german just a short translation:
The fishes are on the way to a party at Sandys place. Sandy is this neat starfish.
In clockwise direction the players throw the dice (included in the box as well!)
and move the number of steps... On some fields there are special events...
Namely:
- - hitting the merman means, you receive the figure. But the merman
is very communicative and is travelling with you until he meets another of the
players... As long the merman is with you, you cannot receive help of the
other inhabitans... - - picking up the mermaid. Having the mermaid with you, prevents you
getting blathered by the merman... But she is only a one-time joker, after
using her once she is free again for the next player... Of course you will
lose her, if she is picked up by another player before you used her.
(like in the real life... :hmm: :lol: ) - - finally, the ghost... He fears that you are going to steal his treasure, so
he is chasing you all the way back to the starting field...
So, here the other animals that help you to reach the party...
Sharki Shark is getting you 3 steps ahead, Heinrich, the whale only two.
Hans von Piek, the blowfish, is delighted by your visit but you are afraid
to come to close, which gets you one step ahead... Stefano, the sea horse,
can show you a short-cut, which helps a lot, and finally, you can help
Ottilie, the octopus, to find her glasses. She is very thankful, therefore
you are allowed to throw the dice again...
I didn't tried to play it with my little one, but I expect it to be fun, especially
pepped up with the specials...

My three sets are all for me, me, me, me
I didnt realize that the ghost, and the merwoman were a part of the game.
So I wanted to be sure that I at least two for the game collection.
I do so love the colored fish in this game.
I had to have all the other games twice just in case I needed to have colored animals. (Frogs, kittens, bunnies)
Then the third was just to have because you never know what will happen.
I dont want to trade them, but if it would get someone interested in trading something tha I would highly value ......
You just cant have too many mermen and merwomen.

Wonder if we'll ever know if all the Nordsee exclusives from Socrates ever found their way to all of those eager recipients ... ???
Many of us were hoping for an in-depth review of these great exclusive klickys!
Playmobil has also reintroduced their merpeople with the mermaid in the recently released specials.
In the past, this has usually meant that a new theme might be on the way from Playmobil.
Is it possible that, in the next few years (or sooner), there might be an Atlantis theme coming from Zirndorf? And, maybe even Captain Nemo and his Nautilus submarine?
We'll just have to wait and see ... ;)
