Title: Do skeletons count as klickys?
Post by: Gustavo on June 11, 2008, 01:53:23
Hello, Playmofriends!
 :wave:

Maybe you'll find this question a bit nonsense, but when you have less than 20 klickys, believe me, these questions come to your mind! 8}

(If any of you don't know, I began collecting Playmobil again a little time ago, after having left them far back in the beginning of youth days, and given all that I had. It's all told in the "Welcome" board.)

Anyway, even so, it sounds like an interesting question. What do you think about it? I've been making my theories, but, alone, they're only theories; I'd like to hear your opinions, so as to reach some sort of conclusion! (Or, maybe, get a bit more confused about. Which is good to guys who spend much of their time thinking ... ;D )

 a past Klickie. I would use the same logic when referring to deceased people . They were people but do you count them in a population census ?

I don't count them as Klickies: they don't have the same body type (obviously!) and don't fit with the numbering scheme.  I've put them in the very small category of parts called "Humanoid" (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/category.pl?category=Humanoid-none).

When i read the subject i thought why would anyone want to count its klickies  :eh?:
But i understand that when you have as little as 20 klickies you don't want to loose any of them, believe me that in a few months time you will have so many that you don't even want to start counting 8}

I've got about a dozen skeletons, mostly so I can do a Halloween display this year, but possibly for a "Jason and the Argonauts" scene.

I count them as klickies, same as ghosts and vampires. They're part of my undead army.

For the same reasons as Heather describes, I don't think of my skeletons as klickies.

They are "built-differently" and I tend to classify them as accessories.

Easter Bunny figures and Roman statues, on the other hand, I count as klickies.

Since the Skeletons have just as much play potential as the old klickies (with the fixed wrists) I do count them as klickies ...

But that's just me ;-)

(I know that Collectobil doesn't  :-[)

it's a clear YES.  :yup:

At german DS you can order spare parts for playmosets, but NOT klickies or their accessories...
As playmobil do NOT list the skeletons e.g. for the skull island, they obviously count to the klickies.
q.e.d.

@macgayer  :lol: its all true. ONCE A KLICKY - ALWAYS A KLICKY!

I think that this too made me have doubt about.

Skeletons are characters too ...

Tecnically, though, they may not be klickys. [I don't know yet.]

Even so, I have to admit that I'm inclined to "no" ... After all, scientifically speaking, it's no 8}
