Title: 4965 karstadt special pirate in u.s.

i just found out that an old karstadt exclusive german set - the 4965 roter pirat - is now available in the american playmobil site.  ???

it was launched in europe in 2004 with 2 other sets - the 4964 corsair (with dog) and the 4966 piratenbraut (with cat).
i think this is the first time an exclusive european set is relaunched in the us as a common set. :hmm:
i find it strange that they chose the 4965 - the color scheme is better in the 4964  set and the 4966 is a beautiful "piratesse".  :love:

The "Adventures of Tim Dawkins" were all over PlaymoFriends a couple of years ago !!!

Mr. Dawkins will be quite pleased to learn that Playmobil has made a Klicky of him and his monkey Chi-Chi for all the little boys and girls ... ;)

i was a new member then, posting a picture with a playmo-pirate standing on the top of a winch in a boat i had in the azores islands. it seems so long ago... :)

I'm still here, sort of :)

I haven't had as much time recently to post or go anywhere to take any pictures, but with summer fast approaching I'm sure my klickys will have some more adventures soon. :yup:
