Title: all playmobil sites are down - novelties coming?
Post by: cachalote on March 05, 2008, 22:09:12: i just tried, march 5, 22:05 g.m.t, to access all playmobil.de.
i was unable to do it. :'(
then i tried all of the other sites and tha answer was the same: "the website declined to show this webpage" or "the webpage cannot be found". >:(
maybe playmobil is updating their sites? ???
maybe there are a lot of novelties coming? ::)
maybe they even decided to secretly reinforce the pirate family? 8}
maybe it is worth to try later and see if something different comes up... :hmm:

Post by: Gepetto on March 06, 2008, 02:40:21: I haven't noticed anything too different on their site but just placed an order and their order form is much nicer in that it shows the stock status of items and any discounts that may apply on a per item basis. I don't remember having to sign a disclosure agreement before, but in the heat of a buying spree I don't pay too much attention to paperwork.

A couple of new things on the UK site, or else I just didn't notice them before - 4418 recycling truck and 4442 car with go-cart.

the german site has a direct link to the archiv on the left side of the screen but maybe it has been there for ages and i didn't notice it. ::)
no new pirates, although the mistery surrounding the new "surprise" set is still on the air - or maybe it has already been revealed and i didn't notice it... :hmm:

It certainly looks like It could be Pirate related or rather they could be Pirate related, the image shows two different boxes.

i am hoping for a pirate (it really seems the silhouette of a tricorn on the left) but you never know.
there is apparently no extra info anywhere and there is not even a clue about the size of the boxes although their proportions seem to put out the "specials" option.
a new pirate set would be nice, a real fantastic one, as fantastic as the sea-plane (it is getting harder and harder to stick to just one playmo-family).
