Title: Superset 3126
Post by: playmofire on February 26, 2008, 15:40:32
Does anyone have the plans for this set, please?  Ideally, I'm looking for the plans for the second version of the set, the one with small arches at the edges of the centre of the roadway with the pipe in, but either will do. However, I would in any case like the part number for the roadway part of version 2.

Pics of the two versions are shown below (with acknowledgment to PlaymoDB).  Interestingly, the box originally had the roadway as version 1 both front and back, the PlaymoDB pics show the version 1 roadway on the front and version 2 on the back, and the set in my local shop has the version 2 roadway front and back.

I only do have the version 1 set (but without plan :()

So I would be interested in this plan too.

Interesting!  The difference in my pictures is due to the front being from Collectobil, and the back from a submitted picture.  If you look at my text-only part list ( http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/listinv.pl?setnum=3126) you'll see several parts without quantities: these numbers were picked up from the Flash-file at playmobil.de (not longer on that site).  I added them in for completeness but they don't appear on the instructions I have, which are numbered 30 89 7580. Some of these "unofficial" parts are unprinted versions of the printed parts, but the baseplate itself has different numbers: 30 89 8000 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-89-8000) on the instructions vs.30 89 2692 (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-89-2692) at playmobil.de.  I expect the baseplate with the arches has this "unofficial" or "new" number.  I would like to get plans which show it, if they exist, in order to get a proper picture.  Failing that, perhaps someone could take a photo for me?

edit - well, the plan scans have served their purpose, and thanks playmofire for forwarding them!

On a side note Heather, I'll email you later on - do you need high-res (larger than 1600x1200) box art pic/scans?

Thanks, core.  It would be better if you emailed them to me as Playmobil don't like plans being published on the internet for copyright reasons.  I'll forward them on to sbblabotw, or you could send them to her direct at playmodb@gmail.com.

Thanks in anticipation for your help.

(Ooops, I see you've posted them already!)

[moderator] - I am not really sure how to handle this. To be honest, I can't find it in the rules that this isn't allowed, but I know that Geobra in past didn't allow this. I'll get this one up with the others and Sylvia.
But most importantly - thanks for sharing, Core - know that it is much appreciated!

Yes I did  :yup: ... updated my post.  Glad I could help!

Hmm, on a side note, the older set came with an 8-page picture story booklet ... interested?  ;)  (in return, I'm looking for any other story booklets, this is the only one I have, and I know the 1st Knight SuperSet also had one)

The eight page booklet I still have, but thank you for the offer.  It's a bit of a puzzle how I came to keep that and somehow lose the much more important plans! ::)

Wow, I retreat into real life for a few hours and miss all the fun.  Happily awaiting new stuff in my inbox.  Core, 1600x1200 is plenty big, thank you kindly.  I didn't know there were story books in these Supersets, that's neat! I'd love to see them.  I think a Playmofriends gallery would be a good place for them, similar to the catalogue scans.

I have the storybook for the Knights Superset that includes the Blacksmith and the archer bandit - don't know the number offhand. I'll dig it out.
