:'(
not that i am very hopeful, now that the other pirate ds sets seem to be dateless and nameless - but i would very much like to know more about these soldier ds sets taht i have.
first of all, are there any other?
and then, names and release / discontinue (does the word exist?) dates.
thank you all.
:)

I know there are some add-on sets related to the ships.
discontueing (does the word exist?)
Yes but the case is an active one - happening now - usually we would use the past tense in English - discontinued
-
meanwhile, i found the names of 2 of the sets:
7675 - 3 englishe rotröcke / 3 red coats soldiers
7676 - captain der englishen rotröcke / red coat leader
they are still available in the german and american sites.
-
I got some 7675 sets last year (and a 7676), but I can't understand why they packaged two sergeants with one private. Seems like a top heavy command structure to me.
They're still available in the Uk too.
-
I allways thought it was a set of a single private, a sergeant and a lieutenant :-[
Making the top heavy command even heavier!

We haven't updated this page (http://gardenwargaming.com/pirates/pirates1.html) for a couple of years (or more), so if you have any "new" pictures, please share them with us and we'll add them for everyone to see and enjoy.

Richard, can you confirm my assumption that 7676 - Red Coat Leader (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=k7676), whom I got from DS this Christmas, is indeed the same figure as the one in the old 3795 - Harbour Guard (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?setnum=3795)? Thanks!

Hello, Heather ...

The only difference between the officer figure in Add-On 7676 and the officer figure in Set 3595 (or set 3054) is the gold pom-pom that fits over the top of the shoe.
So, to answer your question ... Yes, it is the same figure!
All the best,
Richard

I didn't spot him in 3054, thanks for the tip! I believe, as well, that the soldiers in those sets are the same as the ones still available from DS, so I'll go ahead and populate the sets with klickies. Only the black-haired one has a part number, unfortunately.

Set 3054 was the North American version with the impotent cannon ... :)

The soldiers from DS (Add-Ons) are indeed the same soldiers that were included in sets 3595 and 3054. (One also appeared in set 3351.) However, for some reason the reds seemed to have gotten a bit darker and somewhat richer in colour in some of the later releases.

Ooops ...
I just remembered that I forgot to also include sets 3857 and 3058 ... :-[
These two sets were identical except that 3058 was the North American version with the impotent cannon ... :)
