Hello everyone,
I am very happy to join such a wonderfully positive and welcoming community. I used to post very regularly at playmoboard a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, my non-plastic life seemed to take over for a long while though. :'( I never stopped lurking and reading all the news, I just never seemed to have the energy or time to contribute. :-[ So after lurking in the shadows for months over here, I decided it was time to "heard" once more (plus it's nice to be able to see all the new pictures as soon as news develops).
Ok, I just checked, it has been almost 4 years since I posted over there. :o I didn't realize it had been so long, since I still check the boards almost every day. Lately I have just realized that I am coming here first and more often. ;D
A little about my playmo interests:
I started out with the Victorian line, and that is still my favorite. I just love the old houses. In fact, my avatar is from a photo story I posted on Playmoboard back in the day that was set in the Victorian house. The story seemed to be well received too; I might just have to dig that back up. ;) Most recently I have customized my many doll house parts to create a larger (wider) mansion.
I also love knights, especially building castles with steck pieces. And I have been drawn into the modern themes as well. Again, I love to build structures with all my system x parts. (Can you tell I grew up with Lego?) :) I also have a few pirates for good measure.
Thank you all for creating such an inviting place!

A big welcome from the warm and sunny United States Virgin Islands ...
Although being myself a "master" of stereotype welcome messages :toot: I really hate you, Richard, saying this each time >:D, because reading this let me always remember your beautiful pictures of your home and those made from your home (e.g. the airplane photos in this sunny bright sky) and makes me become aware that there are currently much more beautiful and friendlier places out there in the world than this gray and (now again) cold German winter over here :-\ ...
(I think you know the way I mean this :P)

Hi Rufus!
Welcome from Scotland. :D
I thought your name was kinda familiar but couldn't quite place it until you mentioned your Victorian photo-stories.
I remember those very well. 8-)
Thanks for joining PlaymoFriends! We hope to see a lot more of you. :)

Welcome Rufus, from cold but Sunny London!
I used to see the Victorian theme sets in the shops, and never thought they were for me, but now they're not available anymore I feel I'd like them.
Doing photostories is definitely a fun way to share Playmo, and a Victorian themesd series would be great. Please dig them up and re-release them!
cheers, Martin

Hi Rufus,
Welcome from me too!! I used to live in Arizona many years ago...Phoenix, Mesa and Tucson. I think my interest in the Western sets has a lot to do with this. I also have 5300 doll house and love the Victorian era. I have some of it, but not enough! I also like Pirates and Knights and Park/playground. Oh who am I kidding???I love all of it.
I would also love to see your Victorian pictures you talked about.

Thank you for all your kind welcomes. I apologize for responding to them so late. :-[
Busy, busy, busy....
I found the photo story I mentioned on my computer. It was fun for me to read it again after so long. ;D I would like to clean up a couple of panels before I show it again. Be patient...it is coming.
