Title: Not receiving emails for replies to threads
Post by: playmofire on February 10, 2008, 19:37:47: Today, Sunday, there have been a number of replies to threads I'm subscribed to and I haven't received an email notifying me of them. There were also cases yesterday when PMs arrived but either I was notified of them some time later or wasn't notified of them at all.

Has anyone else had similar problems?

I use btinternet as an ISP.

I'm happy that you mentioned this, Gordon ... I've also had the same problem over the last couple of days. Let's hope that it's just a temporary nuisance.

I'm also supposed to receive a notification when a new member joins. This evening I noticed there was a new account, created last night, for which I didn't receive an e-mail. Hate it when that happens. I thought it might be my own ISP failing to forward the message, but it sounds like it's a problem with the webhost.

The server was down yesterday which left the forum offline for several hours, so I'm thinking this problem could be related.

With a bit of luck it will all come right again in a relatively short period of time. :crossed:
If not, I will contact Dreamhost's support team and find out what's going on.

Me too ... but, they're mostly all a day or more late ... So, I just deleted them all. Now I'm just "sifting through" the old fashioned way. Which means looking at everything on the site .. ;)
