Title: decals

i am new to customizing, so i apologize if i ask a question that has been answered numerous times before.  i want to make decals or labels to fit into the surgery drapes in the or suites, as they really should not be green, but should be "organ" colored.  can anyone help with the best technique?  hopefully not too complicated as my computer skills are not advanced, i am hoping it can be something i can convert from an actual photo i take with my camera.
