Title: Hello from California!
Post by: aardvaark on March 05, 2026, 22:14:59
Hello everyone,

i just joined as i was searching for 3D playmobil and discovered this cool forum. I'm still not a proper playmo collector yet - unless i count my kids' thousands of Klickys and my mixed bag of System-x parts, and the Delorean/Back to the Future box i've kept unopened for the last 5+ years

But as an architect and construction toy inventor, i am a big fan of the building systems (Steck is cool for customization but System-x is incredible imho)

Looking forward to getting to know this community more. Anyone here into 3D also?

Welcome!

Are you looking for information on printing parts out of plastic or on using modeling programmes (or perhaps both)? There are some members who have done these things, and there are some related threads. ;)

Welcome!  :welcome:

There are definitely a few members who are doing 3d modeling and printing. I keep meaning to learn how, but I haven't.

Thank you for the warm welcomes kind (playmo)friends :)
ideally i'm looking for enough parts to be able to build with them in 3D. If anyone is interested in collaborating in integrating with MakerBrane, it would be a great way to try building all kinds of stuff and yes we could also have custom parts to prototype before 3D printing!
