Pictures from the trade catalogue have just been posted at Klickywelt, with the explicit warning not to share. So go there and enjoy. There is some nice stuff to be seen: 50th birthday figure, Asterix Roman camp, etc.

For their big 50th anniversary year I am underwhelmed. The anniversary figure is fine, a rehash really of the 35th one. Most of the series are just continuations of what we have been seeing but sticking to lower price points. Novelmore has dropped their plans and is just rehashed regular stuff without a theme of the different lands. Dino-Rise is gone which is fine, they have other dinosaurs still. One new fossil dino species, and new jellyfish with the mermaids. No Wiltopia at all in the first half, though there are more Bio-Farm and Horses of Waterfall sets.
My guess is, if there are going to be nostalgia sets referring to the past they will be in the add-ons catalog. Second half year will hopefully be better. Their reorganization and losses at the top of management are showing. Just more rehashing of existing molds and a lack of creativity.

Under Series 25, there is some sort of shaman type figure. I like it 8-) He also appears to have a wife in the series too. She's holding a young lamb or fawn. And there's a female Inca 8} But no Victorian era figures. No decent soldiers to go with the new pirates :-\

I agree, Tim, an unimaginative mish-mash, not so much a celebration feast as a rather funereal snack.

Thanks for posting this, StJohn.
I hope and expect there will be more 50th anniversary offerings.
Another shiny Knight!
12 more Naruto figures.
Miraculous licensed figures (see here (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miraculous:_Tales_of_Ladybug_%26_Cat_Noir) if like me you haven't heard of this French animated series before).
More Asterix sets.
Hopefully we will get a more complete picture soon...

The tiny house is cute
71475 (the kids basketball court) has a female carpenter in traditional German dress, which is cool - slightly weird to bundle it in with a bigger set (or smart maybe  )
Nothing unexpected all round. At least the colours are nicely muted
-
So, they DO know about the 50th.. but why is the knight almost the same?! :(
Anyways, my wallet is having fits.
Thank you for posting, StJohn (the wallet is cursing you, of course... but that's normal.)

New klickys with spider and octopus legs in the pirate sets - okay.
Kahboom's cart is really silly but the pieces themselves are useful except the novelty hammer which belongs with clowns.
Also the duopack with heavily armed swat police and burglar with crowbar seems overkill. Not sure what they were thinking there.

Well spotted. I guess Finnish, Lapp maybe? As the woman has a baby faun or similar I'm guessing they're supposed to be reindeer herders.

I like the Brunnhilde fi?ure! Another unexplored source of klickies - famous opera characters! :D
The shaman and lady shaman look v. interesting :lens:

Thanks for sharing this information!
I've always wanted one of the earlier anniversary knight figures, but they are quite expensive now, so I'm very pleased to see this one! I agree that the other anniversary sets don't seem to be that special though. It would be great to instead have some more sets from the older themes rereleased for the anniversary. :D
I was hoping that the Miraculous sets would be a bit nicer, but there are some interesting parts in some of them; unfortunately, they seem to be following the pricing trends of other sets that are part of toy licences though. :-\ Some of the new Naruto figures have some great parts and accessories! And the off-road Porsche 911 is cool.
The new fantasy pirate figures are awesome! :D And the new Novelmore sets look to have some great new parts too.
I like several of the Series 25 figures as well. The dwarf is nice, and I'll need several of those new gold two-handed swords! :D The reindeer herders are really nice too, and the woman in the unicorn suit and grey man are interesting. I like the demonic vampire woman and shieldmaiden the most though.

I just created an account there and I'm waiting for my account to be activated.
I would really love to see a rerelease of 3666. I always wanted that one when I was a kid. It would be great to be able to buy multiples at a reasonable price, especially if they had a pack of knights sold separately.

I wouldn't say that a re-release is out of the question, but I doubt it would be much cheaper than it is on the second-hand market (depending where you live, I guess), though the pricing strategy of Playmobil Plus is erratic to say the least.
-
I am afraid that there won't be much in terms Playmobil Victorian / Dollhouse as I really would have loved a special edition :cloud9:
-
I don't know if it's worth making a separate thread, but considering how sparse the novelties are maybe not - but the DS/Playmobil Plus catalogue has leaked;

The (only) notable addition being the Victorian park fence and the lamp-post. I think it's the first time that it's been available in the buff colour since it was first released but I might be wrong? The lamp post has definitely been around relatively recently. It's a shame they didn't include the figures, since the other re-issues have them.
The other good news is that none of the other 'collector' sets seem to have been discontinued, so no scramble to order that medieval house you're holding out on

Thanks for the information, Oliver.
The new classroom sets have some nice parts too. It'd be great if there were more figures being offered though.

That's definitely good! I managed to miss some of the earlier ones though. :-\

Is that a new totem pole in the jungle/adventure theme? Bottom right of the first catalogue that's open. I like the horse stable too, nice colours.

Looks like a gold colored blob of a post holding up a sign
Yes, someone is putting normal colors back
The travel trailer/caravan is a nice modern normal gray/white also

Oh thanks for the confirmation, I saw some of this on FB but wasn't sure it was accurate.
I'm sure I'll get a few more lamp posts, but I've got several fences already. I agree the klickies would have made a real difference.
Quite right about that medieval house btw
-
Finally, the fence! :gent: I have to use the non-matching yellow one for park scenes because my only beige fence is that little length from the FAO set. The full set with the klickies would have been amazing, but I'm still happy to be able to coordinate the fencing.
-
Yes now you mention it, I have an original one, a yellow one and a pink one that only somewhat matches the original beige.
So I will need to get some more
-
Seems like we're getting more and more painted eyes all over the themes.
Did the Dinos new characters really needed to have the Novelmore eye glint?
Anyways, fun stuff on the horizon.

Yes, I was just looking at the stegosaurus set 71526. That guy just looks really creepy with those eyes.
Why don’t they just do the normal/original clicky eyes. Some things just don’t have to change
-
I have no idea what those eyes are meant to be - they all look drunk and/or high and/or sleepy.
At least the wildtopia ones look good - as long as they are not infected with the Spirit moronic-virus-of-the-eyes-in-the-forehead.
