Title: how to let your clickies aim their rifles and carabines
Post by: tanotrooper on October 29, 2007, 19:34:28
It's annoying that your clickies cant aim with these. So I thought of the piece that holds the oar on the rowboat.

Verrry clever, TT !!!

In fact, with an extension, your oarlock is historically correct for the arquebusier and musketeer.

the stick that holds the arquebus was missing in the pic because it rested on the wooden defence (see the custom section).

He can hold it at the oarlock and support it on something else (I have a piece for that, wich is a bit too short, I believe it belonged to a bbq set...)

A piece cut off a brush handle or spade handle might work, or even a bit of sprue.

What a clever idea!
I love it when people adapt existing parts for completely different uses. 8-)

TT, I have moved this topic to the How To board because I feel the instructional nature of the content fits here better. :)
