Always have loved the gullwing SL , just wish this particular example did not have the racing digits on the doors & hood
Hopefully it gets done in either black, red or silver soon

You think it will be released in different colors? I agree with you - would prefer without the numbers...

My perspective is from years past that the initial investment from Geobra in regards to product research, design, mold creation and now licensing fees were such an expense that having a one off set was rather rare. I also gain hope from the VW line of so many color options .
It’s wishful thinking as this is such an iconic classic MBZ

I'm also hoping it comes out in a plain colour - fingers crossed.

I think that gives hope - the 2 VWs have come in different colours, and if some of the Porsches did then I think it's likely that this one will get an updated version next year.
