Title: Exclusive sets in Kaufland (Germany)
Post by: bml87 on November 21, 2021, 20:23:20: Our friends of Amclicks (http://amclicks.org/foro/novedades-playmobil/nuevas-referencias-exclusivas-para-kaufland/) brought the news that there's going to be a loyalty campaign at the German hypermarket Kaufland. After some Googling I found the exclusive sets of the campaign here (https://filiale.kaufland.de/highlights/treueaktion.html#treueaktion-playmobil). According to the set numbers, most of them are new references!

They are showing the dino set at 39.99 € full price and with their loyalty points discount at 22.99 € which is high for that but manageable. So basically they have jacked up the prices so they can discount them to a more normal price.

I find it quite insulting when companies try this trick especially in today’s higher tec world where everyone can price check on their pocket computer (aka cell phone)

Tuesday Morning was famous for this deceptive behavior

Electronic store recently increased the price of a tv by 200. Now they're discounting it for Black Friday. It's still cheaper than it was a couple of months ago but it's not 400 cheaper.
