in the "Dragons" set you can find this helmet https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30085512 (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30085512), remove the wings give a filing (I'm not very good at that  ::)) and you will have a new perfect helmet for your knights

Interesting idea... Looks good too.

However I think I would have a problem removing the winds... cause they're pretty :-[ 
(even if the hat as-is is kinda silly.. ok, VERY silly ;D )

Thanks for sharing your idea, HDTM! One can never have too many medieval helmets.
