Hi all! Can anyone check (measure) if the terror dog-horns could replace the horns of a regular cow? In order to create some longhorns?
I'm talking about those (http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30053762):

Thanks a lot!

Great idea! Now I’m curious as well

The horns of the terror-dog are somewhat thinner then those of the cow, and also not significantly longer.
Btw, can the horns of the cow be pulled out like the ones from this "dog"? To me they seem to sit quite tight and I don´t want to break them...

Pretty sure the cow horns are attached in the same mould like shoes and legs are.

There's a very nice topic on Klickywelt by user Onkel_Di how to make your own "Longhorn-horns", click here (https://klickywelt.de/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=66901&start=15). But I never made a mold (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molding_(process)), so I was looking for an easier way to get horns...
It seems that the Terror dog-horns are quite small indeed, thanks for the picture, Hadoque!
In the topic of Klickywelt you can see that the original cow horns are attached to each other, but I gladly order some extra cows to create longhorns!

Playmobil made longhorn cattle a long time ago. :cowboy:

I know, but I want cattle that doesn't look like it comes straight from a Picasso painting :yup: . I guess I might try the method (https://klickywelt.de/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=66901&start=15) of Onkel_Di of Klickywelt one day.
I just did a test with a bull I have, which had a broken horn. I cut away 1 horn and then you can take out the other side (not that easily, but it works). I will post a picture later.

Found out that making a mold is not necessary if you use this part (https://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-07-9530):

Which is still available via the DS.
I did a quick tryout:
