One of only two quadbikes in the Playmobil series (I think) the other being number 4425 with red & yellow colouring. All the colours are printed on, there's no stickers to apply and mess up or get peeled off again.
This is one of the items Chris insisted I get during his adventure yesterday; I don't know why as it comes with a rider.
I can imagine children having a great time with this little vehicle; it has a clockwork mechanism so you can pull it back a short way and then let it run - probably through leaves and puddles and along sandy beaches. I haven't tried it uphill yet. It's not quite pocket size, but it's definitely take-on-a-day-out-in-the-backseat-of-the-car size. This is the kind of thing I need to get a spare of, because I'm going to take it to the park and get it all messed up and scratched.

Nice review, Martin, and thanks yet again.
There are three quad bikes, the third being a police patrol one. They're great fun, as you say, and tests show that the running characteristics differ, some accelerating much faster than another initially, but the other then catching up.
I keep looking at the possibility of converting one to a fire brigade quad bike.

That last sentence.... ;D :-X :toot:
(i just couldn't resist this)
Anyways, the quads have 2 speeds: they start slow and later up the speed. They're great for father-child races  :woohoo:

The way they speed up is very clever.
I have done a simple conversion which I will post here shortly. (It was done some time last year.)
