Wow! Schenk looks very much like Playmobil. Is there any
direct relationship?
Great photos, thanks for posting, Tricornejock.

And i thought Playmobil sometimes picked peculiar shades of color. Any time i need to be reminded of how it could be i can check in with Schenk.

Hello,
You can find a long and detailled explanations about Schenk production, on another part of my web side here too: http://www.tricornejock.com/html/schenk.html Excuse me pls to don't give here in this thread a english version of text, but you can use for exemple a translation programme "Altavista" to understand better.
A Schenk production was stoped in 1996. They made a lot of copies from Playmobil without lincense or autorisations and it was asked to stop a production. It was stoped, yes, and a lot of informations we can read or see about by Internet on some web sides is true. BUT I can tell you that some sets are still produced today. They are packaged in mix transparent plastic/paper very sheap, there is no name and no more pictures on the package. I suppose that some anonyme Plastic factory use a moulds from Schenk to continue some parallele productions in Hungarn. They are still selled by Ebay sometime or other selling plateforms by Internet. The production is always so sheap but the used plastic colors are no more so funny like before. Only still for the canons, like set nr: 3409 (Very clear green and the schells in bronz color, selled in simply plastic bag), or for another exemple again, they build still a wertern coatch too (Similar to Playmobil set nr: 3245) but in beige and dark green, without klickys.
I can tell you, a collection of Schenk I have, will be the last I loose if I have to sell all my collection of Playmo, to if they are not a good values...
Like you, I regret that this type of helmets or another very interressting parts are not produced by Playmobil...
Best regards,
TJ
PS: Hi Claudia, I see that this thread change a start of meaning, we don't speak more about this grey rifle at all... Sorry.
