I got this from a French ebay seller. Clearly modelled on the famous Neptune from the Fi?ures series. I like the improvements: the crown is obviously superior to the official crown, the net cape is a nice touch, and the seahorse sceptre (say that ten times fast) is cool. Also, being white not green skinned makes him a better Greek god I think.

Are the feet painted?
-
Tahra of the Keen Eyes! I forgot to mention the most interesting thing about this guy - the feet are definitely not painted! Was there another figure with those legs but white feet? Or is this an "official" custom?

Well, that is the only thing I find of note on him :-[
Those stupid STUPID legs were only on that figure... and they were green ::)
Edit: I meant the FEET were green. Of course the legs are green..ish :-[

Or did someone (you?) swap the feet with a pair of pink ones? That would be quite a feet!
-
De-feeting the original legs would have defeated me, so I cannot claim credit!

:lmao:
Do you find anything off with the feet? I'm thinking if that were the case, it'd show?
-
I inspected them pretty closely and they look to me like factory made legs and feet. Tiny mold lines are visible, the join between the pink and the green is crisp, the sheen and texture is PM quality, and the feet are shaped exactly like the green feet.
I'd wager serious money that these are PM-produced legs.

Awesome then :)

It´s an original klicky (N° 7) from the recent "De Agostini" editions.
These are only available in France and Spain. The series was also planned for Germany but has been cancelled there.
-
Thank you Hadoque! That explains it, especially because my other purchase from this seller was a Dagostini Greek (my second).
-
!!! The pictures of the DeAgostini line I'd seen earlier were just a couple dozen. It looks like there's a larger series with 60 figures in it! CHECK THESE PICTURES OUT!

!!! Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Hamlet...Aztec, Maya, AND Inca....incredible....why is PM not all over this.

Eine schicke Figur und Krone + Szepter sind definitiv eine Verbesserung - nur an dieser einen Stelle würde ich widersprechen / a great custom, definite improvement in crown and sceptre; it's but here I won't agree:
Also, being white not green skinned makes him a better Greek god I think.
Nicht nur, daß er mir mit grünem Gesicht und Bart persönlich besser gefällt; Neptun war Römer, die Griechen nannten ihn Poseidon. It's not just optics (I prefere the green version of face an beard), "Neptune"'s Roman, Greek'd be "Poseidon".

I realise I failed to read your initial post Macruran where you said you bought this from a French seller :-[.
Nice Klicky, whatever his Pantheon!
Those magazine exclusives and Quick Restaurant give-aways are often lovely, unique and infuriatingly hard to come by. If only they could be offered in the PCC annual sale....
