As you know, Erik, I've seen these photos before, but it's still good to see them again.  Well done and thanks for posting them here.

Wow, this looks pretty cool.  8-)

What the tents are made off? The material looks thick, so it doesn't seem to be fabric or paper.

The tents are plastic-made by Schleich. It's just the right size for the Playmo world, and I think it gives a realistic look to the scene! :)

Hello, Erik ...

I have been looking at pictures of Schleich's tents (http://www.schleich-s.de/cms_schleich/shop/index.php?partner=standard&lang=1&startnode=1&mod=det&wo=news&do=news&von=48&code=1103793929244&okat=130) and wondering how they would look with Playmobil. Thank you very much for answering the question for me. They look GREAT with Playmobil. And, your photos of your Templar knights are wonderful!

Your photos remind me of some of the photos from Ken Callebut. Click HERE (http://gardenwargaming.com/pirates/dunc/dunc.html) to see an article about about the Templar Knights that was written by Playmofriend's member Outback!

If anyone else is curious, Schleich makes lots of very interesting things (including Smurfs/Schlümpfe) ... click HERE (http://www.schleich-s.de/cms_schleich/shop/index.php?lang=1&startnode=1&specialpage=product_overview).

Thanks again Erik and welcome to PLaymofriends,
Richard

Uh, didn't noticed that in general the knights world of Schleich has the scale about 1:20 which is right close to the Playmobil scale. So other items like the Tournement Tent (http://www.schleich-s.de/cms_schleich/shop/index.php?partner=standard&lang=1&startnode=1&mod=det&wo=news&do=news&von=48&id=255&okat=130) or the Castle (http://www.schleich-s.de/cms_schleich/shop/index.php?partner=standard&lang=1&startnode=1&mod=det&wo=news&do=news&code=1103793915354&okat=191)might also be suitable to be used with Playmobil. Anybody tried so far (apart from the tent shown above)?

The castle looks seriously good.  It's also capable of being expanded into a good size background for Klickies of almost any period.  A lot of 19th century military buildings (e.g. US Militia armories and UK barracks) were deliberately built to look like medieval castles.
